Basic Service definition

Basic Service. As defined in M.G.L. c. 164, § 1 and in orders of the Department, as amended or promulgated, as the case may be, from time to time. • And lastly, eligible consumers may opt-out of the Program, and select Basic Service or power supply from any other Competitive Supplier they wish at any time before or following their enrollment in the Town’s Program.

Basic Service is the level of programming service which includes, at a minimum, all Broadcast Channels, all PEG SD Access Channels required in this Franchise, and any additional Programming added by the Grantee, and is made available to all Cable Services Subscribers in the Franchise Area.
