Annual Incentive definition

Annual Incentive see Section 2.7.
Annual Incentive means the higher of (i) a Covered Executive’s target annual incentive in the then partial calendar year, if applicable, of his/her termination of employment, or (ii) his/her highest actual annual incentive earned in the three (3) full prior calendar years preceding his/her termination of employment under an annual incentive plan sponsored by the Company or any comparable plans of The E. W. Scripps Company (and annualized in the case of any pro rata annual incentive earned for a partial calendar year); and

Examples of Annual Incentive in a sentence

  • The Short Term Annual Incentive Award shall be payable in cash as soon as practicable after the Plan Administrator has determined the amount of those Awards.

  • The Annual Incentive Portion of Severance, if any, shall be paid in cash on the same date the active participants under the Annual Incentive Plan are paid.

  • Any such payment shall be in lieu of any payment otherwise due under the Company's "Annual Incentive Plan" or "Performance Unit Plan" for the year in which the Executive's termination occurs.

  • Executive shall not be eligible for any new Annual Incentive Plan grants, Long-Term Cash Incentive Plan grants, or any other grants of stock options, RSUs, or other equity awards under the Omnibus Plan with respect to the CIC Severance Period as defined immediately below.

  • The Company shall, in addition to Executive’s Base Salary, pay Executive an Annual Incentive Bonus, which shall be payable within 120 days of the end of each fiscal year in accordance with the formula set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof.


More Definitions of Annual Incentive

Annual Incentive shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.2 hereof.
Annual Incentive means the annual incentive, also referred to as the Pitney Bowes Incentive Plan (PBIP), that a Participant is eligible to earn under the Pitney Bowes Key Employee Incentive Plan.
Annual Incentive means an applicable Participant’s annual incentive under the Annual Incentive Plan for the year in which the Termination Date occurs.
Annual Incentive means the higher of (i) a Covered Executive’s target annual incentive in the then partial calendar year, if applicable, of his/her termination of employment, or (ii) his/her highest actual annual incentive in the three (3) full prior calendar years preceding his/her termination of employment.
Annual Incentive. Plan ("AIP") for 1997. Awards shall be determined and paid under the AIP for the 1997 Plan Year based on the performance goals established by the Compensation Committee. However, in the event of a Change in Control prior to the payment of the 1997 Plan Year Award, such AIP Award payable to Executive for the 1997 Plan Year shall be in an amount at least equal to the full "target" level amount for the year.
Annual Incentive means the amount awarded to a Participant under the Executive Annual Incentive Plan, as amended from time to time.
Annual Incentive means the annual bonus earned for a year pursuant to any annual incentive plan or program adopted by the Compensation Committee. Annual Incentive shall not include any spot bonuses, hiring bonuses, separation payments, retention payments, or other special or extraordinary payments.
