Weighment. The Concessionaire shall provide for a weighbridge in accordance with the Construction Requirements.
Weighment. 8.1 In case supplies are moved by Rail:
a) The net weight ascertained by actual weighment of the wagons by the railway notified weighbridge and shown in the railway receipts shall be binding on both i.e. Buyer and the Seller.
b) In the event of the railway weighbridge being out of order and/or with prior knowledge that wagons would not be weighed, due to other reasons including nonfunctioning of weighbridge, weight will be determined on the basis of Weight Volume Ratio (W.V.R.) determined by MOIL, which shall be binding on both i.e.
Weighment. For bulk material to be accepted by weight, all the trucks / wagons / trailers / tankers etc. shall be weighed at the destination at the Purchaser’s weighbridge(s). Supplier’s challan weight for each truck / wagon / trailer / tanker etc. shall be accepted as final, if the weighment at Purchaser’s premises for that truck / wagon / trailer / tanker etc. is within the tolerance range indicated in the Contract. If the weighment at Purchaser’s weighbridge(s) is found to be more than the challan weight, the payment shall be restricted to the challan weight. In case the weighment at Purchaser’s weighbridge(s) is found to be less than challan weight even after allowing the tolerance range indicated in the Contract, the weighment at Purchaser’s premises shall be final for the purpose of payment.
Weighment. The weight of the bags of food grains etc. loaded /unloaded into/ from trucks / Vessels or any other vehicle shall be worked out on the basis of cent percent weighment. The representative of the Bidder shall be present at the time of checking of the weights at the loading/unloading points etc. The General Manager, FCI will be the sole Authority for determining the quantum of loss which shall be binding on the Bidder.
Weighment. The weight mentioned in the third party inspection certificate or the Bill of Lading, whichever is less, shall be final for all the payment purposes.
Weighment. 7.1.1 The weight will be final at loading point. 100% weighment will be done at the time of despatch of goods at loading point at the nearest weighbridge (mutually agreed by buyer and seller both). The weighment will be done by surveyors appointed by buyer at his cost. Seller can also depute his representative or appoint surveyors, at his cost to supervise the weighment.
7.1.2 In case at the time of despatch of goods, ▇▇▇▇▇’s representative or his surveyor is not present, weighment arranged by the seller will be binding on the buyer. In case the seller fails to appoint a surveyor or depute his representative to supervise the weighment, weighment arranged by the buyer will be binding on the seller.
7.1.3 At the request of the buyer, the seller shall give truck-wise detailed statement of weight.
Weighment. Unless otherwise agreed, SELLER shall invoice on the basis of actual net weight. The weight (quantity) recorded at the SELLER’s weighbridge is final and shortage claims if any will not be entertained. BUYER or their authorized representative, may if so desired, witness the loading as well as Weighment of the material. In addition to the above, for dispatches by RAIL, the BUYER is also advised to take up with Railways in their own interest if any shortages are suspected to have the wagons reweighed and contents checked immediately on arrival at destination Railway Siding, before taking delivery of the material. SELLER will not be responsible for any loss or shortages on arrival and BUYER may take up such issues with the Railways only. Any charges raised by Railways on this account shall be borne by the BUYER.

The representative of the Bidder shall be present at the time of checking of the weights at the loading/unloading points etc. In case of consignment movement to UT Administration godowns at 9 Islands, the representative of UT Lakshadweep Administration shall also witness the process at depots of Mangalore and sign, along with the representative of bidder, the acknowledgement of the weight and number of bags being despatched. The General Manager, FCI will be the sole Authority for determining the quantum of loss which shall be binding on the Bidder.
Weighment i. The acceptable bunches shall be harvested and bottom de-handing shall be done. Only selected hands shall be put in boxes/ crates and weighed.
ii. The Harvesting Supervisor with the Farmers or his/ her representative shall record the corresponding Net Weight.
iii. The loaded vehicle with boxes / crates may be weighed at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ own cost at weighing balance and the net weight of banana shall be calculated after deduction of weight of packing material i.e. Boxes/ Crates.
Weighment. The weight shall be determined at Loading Port by a survey of the Mother Vessel’s draft and utilizing Mother Vessel immersion scale weight to the nearest tonnage conducted by SGS OR IMTERTEK Certificate of Weight issued by it shall be the basis for the ▇▇▇▇ of Lading quantity.
