USING THE CARD. The Cardmember shall: a. Sign on the back of the Card in ink as soon as the Cardmember receives it b. Keep the PIN a secret and separate from the Card c. Stay within the Credit Limit d. Use the Card only within the expiry date printed on it e. Not use the Card if it is damaged or cancelled f. Note that the Card is Our property and must be returned when asked by Us g. Note that a Service Establishment or other person acting on Our behalf can also retain the Card h. Not allow any other person to use the Card(s) i. Not use the Card at a Service Establishment if the Cardmember/ Company/Establishment is a significant owner of that Service Establishment. Not use the Card to fund working capital needs j. In the case of Joint and Several Liability Agreement, the Cardmember and the Company/ Establishment will be liable for all Transactions, fees and charges incurred on the Card k. Note that the Cardmember/Company/Establishment have to pay Us all amounts debited to the Account even if a sale or Cash Withdrawal voucher is not signed by the Cardmember l. Note that we will not be liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) suffered by the Cardmember/Company/Establishment due to a decline of a charge at a Service Establishment m. Note that non-compliance with the provisions of this Agreement may result in: i. Cancellation / suspension of the Card without notice from Us ii. Decrease in Credit Limits without notice from Us iii. Negative impact on the credit bureau record and ability to obtain new credit facilities iv. Litigation in the event of non-payment of the Cardmember Company/Establishment’s dues v. Increased financial burden on the Cardmember/Company/ Establishment due to fees and charges. vi. Financial losses to the Cardmember/Company/Establishment due to Unauthorized Transactions due to the Cardmember/ Company/Establishment’s failure to report loss / theft of the Card promptly n. Not to re-sell or return for cash refund any goods, tickets or services obtained with the Card. However, goods or tickets may be returned to a Service Establishment for credit to the Account if the Service Establishment permits such returns. The Cardmember/Company/Establishment undertakes to act in good faith at all times in relation to all dealings with the Card and with Us and not use the Card for any illegal or immoral purpose. USING THE CARD. To make a purchase or cash advance, there are two alternative procedures to be followed. One is for you to present the Card to a participating Visa plan merchant, to us or to another financial institution, and sign the sales or cash advance draft which is imprinted with your Card. The other is to complete the transaction by using your Personal Identification Number (PIN) in conjunction with the Card in an Automated Teller Machine or other type of electronic terminal that provides access to the Visa Credit Card system. The monthly statement will identify the merchant, electronic terminal, or financial institution at which transactions were made, but sales, cash advance, credit, or other slips cannot be returned with the statement. You will retain the copy of such slips furnished at the time of the transaction in order to verify the monthly statement. The Credit Union may make a reasonable charge for photocopies of slips you request.
USING THE CARD. You may use the Card issued to you to make purchases in person, online, and by mail or telephone from merchants and others who accept VISA cards. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from the Credit Union, from other financial institutions participating in the VISA program and from automated teller machines (ATMs), such as VISA ATM Network, that provide access to the VISA system. (Not all ATMs provide such access.) You will need to use your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to obtain a Cash Advance from an ATM. The monthly statement will identify the merchant, electronic terminal or financial institution at which transactions were made, but sales, Cash Advances, credit or other slips cannot be returned with the statement. You should retain the copy of such slips furnished at the time of the transaction in order to verify the monthly statement. The Credit Union may make a reasonable charge for photocopies of slips you request. You may not use your card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state, or local law.
USING THE CARD. I may use any of three methods to make a purchase or cash advance from merchants and others who accept Visa credit cards: a) I may present the Card to a participating merchant, to you or to another financial institution; or b) I may complete a transaction by using my Personal Identification Number (PIN) in conjunction with my card at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) or other type of electronic terminal, such as on the Visa or the PLUS ATM Network, that provides access to the Visa ®credit card system, limited to $500.00 per day (not all merchants or ATMs provide such access); or c) I may give my card number verbally, in writing, or electronically to a merchant to complete a mail, telephone, or electronic transaction. My periodic statement will identify the merchant, electronic terminal or financial institution, at which the transactions were made, but sales, cash advance, credit or other slips or authorizations will not be returned with the statement.

You agree not to make or permit to be made any illegal transactions on your Account through the use of a Card, a check or in any other manner. We may deny authorization for any internet gambling transaction.

You may also obtain cash advances from the Credit Union, from other financial institutions participating in the Visa program and from automated teller machines (ATM’s) that provide access to the Visa system. Your Visa Personal Identification Number (PIN) is needed to obtain cash advance from an ATM (not all ATMs accept Visa). You agree not to use the card for any illegal transactions such as advances for gambling or wagering where these practices are in violation of the law. Even if you use your card for an illegal transaction, you will be responsible for all amounts and charges incurred in connection with the transaction. PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (PIN): We will furnish you with a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You agree to keep the PIN secret. You also agree you won’t write the PIN on the Card or anything you keep with the card. Your use of the PIN and Card in making a purchase or obtaining a cash advance constitutes your Agreement to be responsible for all amounts and charges incurred in connection with such transactions.

USING THE CARD. 2.1. If the Card User wants to make a Transaction using their Card or Card details, they will need to authorize it by using their Card, a PIN number, your signature or other security code, password, biometric data or other personal identifier, or a combination of these. Where contactless payments are available, they can also authorize a Transaction by touching the payment terminal with their card or device. We can’t cancel or stop a Transaction once they have authorized it. 2.2. The Card may only be used in accordance with the Agreement and we have the right to restrict the services/facilities provided pursuant to the issue/usage of the Card at our sole discretion and terms. 2.3. Subject to sufficient Available Funds and any restrictions in the Agreement, the Card can be used worldwide at ATMs, POS Terminals or E-commerce website or any card operated machine or device, whether belonging to us or other participating banks or financial institutions where logos appearing on the Card are displayed/ accepted and any other services so authorized on the Card by us. The Card may also be used at any Merchant location that accepts the Transaction for processing or displays the logo appearing on the Card. The Card may be used for retail purchases, cash withdrawals, purchase of goods and services via the internet, telephone, facsimile and mail order or for any other services approved by us, for Transaction values not exceeding the Limit (subject always to sufficient Available Funds) from time to time. 2.4. The Available Funds will be reduced by the full amount of each Transaction plus any applicable Charges. 2.5. Due to restrictions, the Card may not operate in some countries and may not be accepted at some Merchant locations which are not in compliance with either our internal policies or those whose MCC’s have been blocked by us. 2.6. Merchants that accept the Card are required to seek authorization from us or through any appointed payment processor for all Transactions that are made and we cannot stop a Transaction once authorized. Some Merchants may not be able to authorize the Card Transaction if they cannot obtain an online authorization from us. 2.7. Some Merchants, may place a hold on an amount greater than the value of Transaction that the Card User wishes to make, which requires a pre-authorization for such an amount. USING THE CARD. We will send you a Card or Cards embossed as you have directed. As soon as received, each Card must be signed (in the space provided on the back) by the person whose name is embossed thereon. That signature must be in the same form as embossed on the front of the Card. To make a Purchase or Cash Advance, present the Card to a participating VISA plan merchant or financial institution, or to us, and sign the sales draft or cash advance draft which will be imprinted with your Card. Please note that we are not responsible if a particular VISA plan merchant or financial institution refuses to honor your Card. You will receive a copy of any draft you sign when using the Card which you should retain to verify your monthly statement. We may, upon request, furnish you with a copy of a draft if one is available. You may use your Card to make purchases and cash advances primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, and not for business or commercial purposes. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from the Credit Union or from other financial institutions that accept VISA Cards or ATMs that accept VISA Cards. Whenever you request an advance, we may require you to prove your identity. When the amount advanced appears on a subsequent statement that will be conclusive evid- ence of the request. To obtain an advance at an ATM you must use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that was issued for use with the Card.
USING THE CARD. 4.1 The Card is a prepaid card, which means the Wallet must be loaded or preloaded with a certain amount of funds prior to use of the Card. Your card is not a credit card. We will only honour transactions up to the amount of the Funds Available. You must always make sure you have sufficient Funds Available to cover the transaction. 4.2 Except as provided in Section 5.3 below, the transaction will likely be declined if the Funds Available on your Card are not sufficient to complete the transaction, including any associated fees and taxes. You can ask the merchant if they will accept a split tender transaction. This will enable you to use the amount up to the amount of Funds Available and cover the difference with another form of payment. Merchants are not obliged to accept split tender transactions. 4.3 Certain merchants may place a hold on the Funds Available by way of a pre-authorized charge. This may happen when you rent a car, reserve a hotel room or pay for gas at the pump. You are able to use your Card in these situations, however, the amount of Funds Available will be reduced by the amount of the hold and, as a result, will not be available to you until the merchant releases the hold. For this reason, we recommend that you do not use your Card in these situations. You can still use your Card to pay for these services when the transaction is completed. For example, you can use your Card when you return the rental car, when you check out of your hotel room, or when purchasing gas. 4.4 Any funds which are loaded in the Wallet: (i) are not on deposit with DCBank; (ii) do not establish a separate individual deposit account; (iii) do not earn interest; and (iv) are not insured deposits under the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation Act. 4.5 You may access any Funds Available to complete POS Transactions. The Card includes a PIN and can be used to access any Funds Available to obtain cash at ATMs displaying one of the card network logos or other acceptance marks that are on the Card. When you use the Card, the amount of the purchase plus any applicable fees and taxes for the POS Transaction or ATM transaction will be deducted from the Funds Available. 4.6 We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, restrict your ability to conduct an ATM transaction or otherwise modify your use permissions in an ATM Transaction, which may include limiting the amount of funds that you can withdraw in such ATM transaction. 4.7 The Card will be valid and usable until the F...
