TOOL KIT. 19.01 The Employer agrees to provide all tools necessary to perform the work required by the bargaining unit employees for new employees. Upon completion of the probationary period, employees will be required to purchase their own tools. The Company agrees to replace employees' tools at its cost all tools damaged which are not subject to warranty protection, or all tools which are proven to the satisfaction of the Company to have been lost or stolen from the employee.

TOOL KIT. Before the commencement of the Designated CBO(s)’ training activities, Employer shall prepare and supply to the Designated CBO(s) a “tool kit” describing the hiring process and benefits available to employees. The “tool kit” shall also include a clear, accurate description of each type of Available Entry Level or New Hire Position, including expectations, experience and/or educational requirements, and any special requirements (for example, language skills and/or possession of a valid California driver’s license).

It is agreed by the parties, reasonable care is to be exercised to ensure the security of all tools and equipment on sites and in vehicles to protect against theft and damage. The Company supplies and provides all the necessary tools and equipment for the tradesperson to carry out their duties in a safe and satisfactory manner. Schedule D outlines the main contents of tools supplied. Company supplied tools either worn/broken or stolen shall be replaced as follows;

TOOL KIT. The parties agree that a necessary precondition or a productive and efficient workforce is to ensure that employees maintain and provide an adequate kit of tools. A minimum requirement for the basic kit of tools is prescribed in Schedule D attached to this Agreement. The Company reserves the right to add to or modify this kit of tools depending upon the type of work to be performed or site requirements. The Wages prescribed in Schedule B of this Agreement are inclusive of a tool allowance and hence employees are expected to maintain the kit of tools themselves.

The parties agree that the following list of tools is a minimum requirement for Tradespersons receiving a tool allowance: • Two 1000 volt insulated flat screwdrivers (small and large) • One other flat screwdriver • Two Philips screwdrivers (small and large) • Insulated sidecutters • Electricians insulated 200mm pliers • Long nose pliers • 250mm multi grips • 100mm shifting spanner • 300mm shifting spanner • Claw hammer • Lump hammer • 300mm hacksaw and blade • Gyprock saw • Knife • Masonry chisel • 8 metre tape • Small level • Test equipment (min test lamps or equivalent) • Hand crimper to 6mm • Cable stripper to 4mm • Xxxx xxxx metric and imperial • String line and chalk line • Tin snips • Junior hacksaw • Wood chisel • Combination square • Tool box and lock • Conduit cutters • Cordless (battery) drill In addition to the above it is recommended that employees purchase and have available the following: • Pop riveter • Set of sockets metric and imperial to 17mm • Set of open ended spanners to 17mm
