Territorial application 1. As regards the French Republic, this Agreement shall apply only to the European territory of the French Republic. 2. As regards the Kingdom of the Netherlands, this Agreement shall apply only to the European territory of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Territorial applicability 1. This Agreement shall apply to the territory in which, and in so far as, the TEU and TFEU are applicable, and to the territory of New Zealand. 2. This Agreement shall only apply to the territory of Denmark if the Union notifies New Zealand in writing that Denmark has chosen to be bound by this Agreement. 3. If the Union notifies New Zealand before the date of application of this Agreement that this Agreement will apply to the territory of Denmark, this Agreement shall apply to the territory of Denmark on the same day that this Agreement applies to the other Member States of the Union. 4. If the Union notifies New Zealand after the entry into force of this Agreement, that this Agreement applies to the territory of Denmark, this Agreement shall apply to the territory of Denmark 30 days following the date of such notification.

The Contracting Parties shall set up a Joint Committee of experts (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”), composed of representatives of the Union and representatives of Trinidad and Tobago. The Union shall be represented by the European Commission. 2. The Committee shall have, inter alia, the following tasks: (a) monitoring the implementation of this Agreement; (b) suggesting amendments or additions to this Agreement; (c) making recommendations for the settlement of disputes arising from the interpretation or application of this Agreement. 3. The Committee shall be convened whenever necessary, at the request of one of the Contracting Parties. 4. The Committee shall establish its rules of procedure. This Agreement shall take precedence over any bilateral agreements or arrangements concluded between individual Member States and Trinidad and Tobago, in so far as they cover issues falling within the scope hereof.
