Tender Validity Period Clause Samples

The Tender Validity Period clause defines the length of time during which a bidder’s offer remains open and binding after submission. Typically, this period is specified in the tender documents and may range from several weeks to a few months, during which the bidder cannot withdraw or alter their proposal. This clause ensures that the procuring entity has sufficient time to evaluate all bids and make an award decision without the risk of offers expiring or being revoked, thereby maintaining fairness and stability in the procurement process.
