Temporary Work Assignment a) The Call-In System shall be utilized prior to any Temporary Work Assignment with the following exceptions:
Temporary Work Assignment. If an employee performs the essential functions of a position of a higher rank or classification with the express or implied consent of the College, the employee shall be paid at the wage rate of the applicable rank or classification for each hour the employee performs such functions.
Temporary Work Assignment. Subject to the prior approval of the Fire Chief, whenever a member is specifically assigned and designated by the Fire Chief to perform the duties of a Captain or Lieutenant in those instances where the Captain or Lieutenant is absent and unavailable to respond due to training, meetings or leave time, such member shall be paid at the Step A Lieutenant rate for hours actually worked in such capacity. A Lieutenant assigned to work in a Captain’s capacity shall be paid at the Step A Captain rate for hours actually worked in such capacity.
Temporary Work Assignment. A. When an employee is temporarily assigned to a position (even within his/her own series) with a higher rate of pay than his own for one (1) hour or more, he or she shall receive the rate of the higher classification for the duration of the temporary assignment. No bargaining unit member shall be denied the one hour to avoid the premium rate.
Temporary Work Assignment. 1. If the District determines that a site requires “temporary work”, the District will inform employees at that site of such work.
Temporary Work Assignment. Any member assigned temporarily to a position in a higher rank shall receive the minimum of that rank or seven percent (7%) above his or her present rate, whichever is higher, for all hours worked at such higher rank.
Temporary Work Assignment. It will be the policy of the Company that employees who are temporarily assigned to perform the duties in a job category with a higher rate will be paid the higher rate for the period of time they are assigned to perform those duties.

Temporary Work Assignment. An employee, who replaces or fills in as an employee on a job of a higher classification, and such replacement or fill-in is not a part of his regular work, and who fills the job of a higher classification continuously for one (1) hour or more shall be paid at the minimum rate of the higher job classification. If an employee is temporarily assigned to a job of a lower classification, he shall continue to be paid his rate in his regular job classification for such temporary assignment.
Temporary Work Assignment. When an Employee is temporarily assigned by the Employer to work in a higher paying job classification within the bargaining unit of a full shift or more, the Employee shall be paid at the basic hourly rate of pay of the higher paying job classification next higher than her current basic hourly rate of pay for all hours so worked.
