Suggested Activities. During the 2021 fiscal year, TCE will intervene in 1,483 hectares of cacao as follows: 322 newly sowed (80 ha of IDH), 411 for rehabilitation (170 ha of IDH), and apply good agricultural practices in 1000ha. Further, while cacao technology training continues, technical assistance in every farm of the four intervention areas will follow-up on the acquired knowledge and monitor the environmental management plan. Proper follow-up and monitoring of agricultural practices will increase the productivity of TCE beneficiaries and, as a result, provide a higher income.
Suggested Activities. In 2021, TCE will continue the implementation of the academic (Aprende) and socio-emotional (Escuela Nueva Activa) programs for children, young people, and adults in Necoclí with the support of the Xxxxx Foundation, an ally, that will initiate vocational education in Tumaco. In Necoclí, the resilience program will continue, while in Tumaco, it will begin with the support of the Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Foundation. Some educational activities in Urabá and Tumaco will take into account the educational reactivation guidelines of national, departmental, or municipal order.
