Substitute Transportation. Should YOUR COVERED VEHICLE become inoperable due to the BREAKDOWN of a part (not excluded), upon authorization, payment will be provided to reimburse YOU for actual expenses incurred when renting a vehicle from a licensed car rental agency. Benefits will be allowed only for reasonable time necessary to complete the repair with a maximum benefit of five (5) calendar days. Maximum daily rental allowance is thirty dollars ($30.00) per day, not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per visit. If due to part availability, and the repair cannot be completed in five (5) calendar days, an additional five (5) days may be allowed at thirty dollars ($30.00) per day with a maximum additional benefit of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00), PROVIDED ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZATION IS OBTAINED FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR. LODGING REIMBURSEMENT: Reimburse the CONTRACT HOLDER for motel and restaurant expenses up to $50 per day for a maximum of three (3) days in the event of a BREAKDOWN covered by the CONTRACT, which occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from YOUR home and results in a Repair Facility keeping the COVERED VEHICLE overnight. The maximum benefit per occurrence is $150. To receive motel and restaurant reimbursement, the CONTRACT HOLDER must supply ADMINISTRATOR with his/her receipts from the providers of such services.

Substitute Transportation. In the event of a BREAKDOWN covered by this AGREEMENT, WE will pay on behalf of or reimburse YOU for receipted expenses to rent a replacement VEHICLE from a licensed rental agency or for alternate public transportation while the VEHICLE is at a licensed REPAIR FACILITY in accordance with the terms and provisions of this AGREEMENT. WE will pay the actual expenses, not to exceed forty dollars ($40) per day for every eight (8) labor hours, or portion thereof, flat rate labor time from a nationally recognized labor manual, for the labor time authorized to complete the repair, plus two (2) days parts delay, if needed. Total benefit shall not exceed three hundred twenty dollars ($320) for each repair visit.
Substitute Transportation. In accordance with provisions within this Contract of Carriage, particularly when it is necessary to mitigate Customer inconvenience due to schedule changes or operational irregularities, Cape Air may arrange for and offer substitute transportation on an alternate airline, or via an independent water or ground transportation company. Such substitute transportation may or may not include other non-air services such as accommodations or meals. In acceptance of such substitute transportation or services, the Customer agrees that any such service is performed by independent operators. Anything done by an employee, agent or representative of Cape Air in facilitating a Customer’s transportation by alternate means shall in no way make Cape Air liable for the acts or omissions of such independent carrier. In making such arrangements, regardless of the method or responsibility of payment therefor, Cape Air acts only as the Customers’ agent in doing so and the terms and conditions of the third party service provider will apply.

Substitute Transportation. Should YOUR VEHICLE become inoperable due to the MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN of a covered part, upon authorization, we will provide payment to reimburse YOU for actual expenses incurred when renting a vehicle from a licensed car rental agency. Benefits will be allowed only for reasonable time necessary to complete the repair with a maximum benefit of five calendar days. The maximum daily rental allowance is Thirty five dollars ($35) per day, not to exceed One hundred and seventy five dollars ($175) per visit. If due to parts unavailability, and the repair cannot be completed in five calendar days, up to an additional five days may be allowed at Thirty five dollars ($35) per day with a maximum additional benefit of One hundred and seventy five dollars ($175). We must be advised in advance of all such delays and additional authorization is required from us. Delays caused by repair facility scheduling do not qualify for rental benefits. Lifted / Lowered Vehicle Option This option must be selected at time of CONTRACT Purchase for a VEHICLE equipped with a body or suspension lift or lowering kit (parts used to lift a VEHICLE or its suspension). Coverage is provided if this option has been selected under Optional Coverage and is indicated on the first page of this CONTRACT. Any MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN of a covered part resulting from a professionally installed lift or lowering kit and or tire modification to an originally installed covered manufacturer component will be covered. The modifications and all of their assemblies that are in addition to factory installed parts are excluded from coverage. The maximum increase for a body and or suspension lift cannot exceed Six inches (6”). The maximum lowering of a suspension from the original manufacturer’s specifications is three inches. The maximum tire height modification is Four In order for the VEHICLE to be eligible for coverage, the odometer must be recalibrated to reflect the true mileage due to the modification. The cost of any recalibration is not covered. Proof of calibration by a licensed repair facility must be provided at the time of purchase. Any modification that voids the original manufacturer’s warranty will also void this CONTRACT. Premier Coverage This CONTRACT will cover necessary repairs to all of YOUR VEHICLE’s mechanical and electrical parts, except for those items listed under Maintenance and Parts Excluded and Exclusions from Coverage. Maintenance and Parts Excluded:

Other delays that are beyond OUR control or of the REPAIR FACILITY are not covered. In the event YOUR ACCESSIBILITY VEHICLE experiences a BREAKDOWN covered by this AGREEMENT, and YOU opt not to utilize Substitute Transportation benefits, WE will pay on YOUR behalf or reimburse YOU for receipted expenses for YOU to be transported from the REPAIR FACILITY to YOUR home, and/or from home to the REPAIR FACILITY. WE will pay actual expenses, not to exceed fifty dollars ($50) each way; for an aggregate amount of one hundred dollars ($100) per occurrence.

Substitute Transportation. If Your Vehicle requires repair due to a Breakdown, even when that part is covered by a factory warranty, We will reimburse You for actual substitute transportation expenses incurred up to forty Canadian dollars (CAD40.00) per day for each day Your Vehicle is undergoing covered repairs authorized by this Agreement. Reimbursement for substitute transportation shall not continue beyond the day on which the repairs are completed, or if later, the day that You are notified of the completion of the repair. For parts delay or components failure inspection, a substitute transportation allowance will be made as determined by the Claim Department of the Administrator. To receive reimbursement, You must submit to Us receipts from a licensed rental agency, an automobile dealer’s invoice, a rideshare provider, taxi, or any other means of public transportation.

  • Substitute Teaching An adjunct faculty member who is interested in a substitute teaching assignment may be assigned to teach as a substitute in a course section for which the adjunct faculty member is qualified to teach. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.

  • Transportation of Accident Victims Transportation to the nearest physician or hospital for employees requiring medical care as a result of an on-the-job accident shall be at the expense of the Employer.

  • Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic.

  • Alternate Traffic Routing If CLEC has a LIS arrangement which provides two (2) paths to a Qwest End Office Switch (one (1) route via a Tandem Switch and one (1) direct route), CLEC may elect to utilize alternate traffic routing. CLEC traffic will be offered first to the direct trunk group (also referred to as the "primary high" route) and then overflow to the Tandem Switch group (also referred to as the "alternate final" route) for completion to Qwest End Office Switches.

  • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business. Each State agency shall determine the necessity for travel, and the mode of travel to be reimbursed.

  • Transportation Services i) In the event that transportation services for a student served by CONTRACTOR pursuant to an Individual Services Agreement are to be provided by a party other than CONTRACTOR or the LEA or its transportation providers, such services shall be reflected in a separate agreement signed by the parties hereto, and provided to the LEA and SELPA Director by the CONTRACTOR. Except as provided below, CONTRACTOR shall compensate the transportation provider directly for such services, and shall charge the LEA for such services at the actual and reasonable rates billed by the transportation provider, plus a ten percent (.10) administrative fee, unless a “flat rate” is provided in the transportation contract. In the event that the transportation provider notifies the LEA or SELPA Director that CONTRACTOR is more than 90 days behind in payment for transportation services, LEA shall have the right, in its sole and exclusive discretion, but not the obligation, to make payment for such services directly to the transportation provider, and to deduct such payments from any sums owed to CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Master Contract and any Individual Services Agreement between the parties. In the event that the LEA makes direct payment of the transportation provider’s charges, it shall be entitled to withhold both the transportation charges themselves and such additional amount as shall be reasonably necessary to compensate the LEA for the staff and other costs incurred in making direct payment of those charges. The remedies provided to the LEA pursuant to this Paragraph shall not be exclusive. CONTRACTOR shall not include transportation through the use of services or equipment owned, leased or contracted through the LEA unless expressly provided in the Individual Services Agreement for the student transported.

  • SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES Tenant and all other occupants of the premises will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the property, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts that interfere with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises. HOLD HARMLESS None of iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc. or the owner of the premises assume risk, responsibility or any liability for, and the Tenant hereby releases, waives, relinquishes and discharges iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc., the owner of the premises and all directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives of such parties from, any (i) loss, damage, illness, injury or exposure to COVID-19, other viruses or the flu to persons or their personal property that occurs during their stay on the premises; (ii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, internet service, electricity or plumbing or (iii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from or due to weather conditions, insects, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond their control. POOL & PATIO If the premises include a private or community pool (including hot tubs), then the Tenant hereby acknowledges that the premises they have reserved include a community pool and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the private or community pool (including hot tubs) and patio areas.

  • Shared Transport The Shared Transport Network Element (“Shared Transport”) provides the collective interoffice transmission facilities shared by various Carriers (including Qwest) between end-office switches and between end-office switches and local tandem switches within the Local Calling Area. Shared Transport uses the existing routing tables resident in Qwest switches to carry the End User Customer’s originating and terminating local/extended area service interoffice Local traffic on the Qwest interoffice message trunk network. CLEC traffic will be carried on the same transmission facilities between end- office switches, between end-office switches and tandem switches and between tandem switches on the same network facilities that Qwest uses for its own traffic. Shared Transport does not include use of tandem switches or transport between tandem switches and end-office switches for Local Calls that originate from end users served by non- Qwest Telecommunications Carriers (“Carrier(s)”) which terminate to QLSP End Users.
