Ste p. The employee shall submit the grievance, i n writing, and signed by him, to h i s immediate supervisor. The employee may be accompanied by a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The immediate supervisor w i l l deliver h i s decision i n writing within five ( 5 ) days following t h e day on which t h e written grievance was presented to him. Failing settlement then: Within 'five (5) days following the decision under Step the employee, accompanied by a union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or the union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall submit the written grievance to h i s Department Head, who w i l l deliver h i s decision i n writing within five (5) days following the day on which the grievance was presented to him. This step may be omitted where the employee's immediate supervisor and Department are the same person. A meeting w i l l then be held between t h e Chief Executive Officer or the designated Hospital representative and the desig - nated union representatives who may be accompanied by t h e general representative of t h e Union, within five (5) of the submission of the grievance at Step unless extended by mutual agreement of t h e parties. The decision of t h e hospital shall be delivered writing within ten (10) days following the date of such meeting.

The cost of the arbitrator will be by the Union and by the Company.

The Superintendent of Plant operations shall hold a meeting the Grievance Committee within s i x (6) working days a f t e r receipt of such notice and shall render s i on.

Ste p. If any employee has a grievance he wishes to bring to the attention of the Company, he shall take the up with his immediate ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Supervisor. The employee may, if he wishes, be accompanied by his ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. If the grievance is not to the satisfaction of the employee within two (2) working days, will then be stated in writing and be submitted to the Superintendent. Within three (3) working days, the Superintendent (and/or such other persons as may be designated by the Company) will meet with the employee and his ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, to discuss the grievance. The Superintendent will give his answer to the grievance, in writing, within two working days after the meeting has held. If his reply to the grievance is nor satisfactory, the Union may, within three (3) working days receiving the written reply Of the Superintendent, refer the matter t o the General Manager.
Ste p. The Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the Zone ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ after presenting the grievance in writing shall meet with the employee's immediate supervisor and manager in an attempt to resolve the difference. If the matter is not settled within (2) working days of the answer at Step within any longer period of time which may be mutually agreed upon at the time, then Step may be invoked. The grievance committee will meet with the representatives of the Company designated for this purpose, within five (5) working days of the answer in Step At this meeting an International Representative of the Union and/or counsel for the Company may participate if requested to do so by either party. If the grievance is settled within five (5) working days, or within any longer period of time which may be mutually agreed upon at the time, then at the request of either party the grievance may he referred to arbitration provided such request is made within ten working days.

If the grievance is not settled at Step then within working days after the decision is given at Step the grievance may be referred, in writing, to both the designated representatives of the Bankruptcy Trustee and the Operator who will consult and respond within ten (1 0) working days of the grievance being so referred or hold a meeting with the Union Representative, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and or Grievance Committee and then respond, in writing, within ten (10) working days of such meeting. If the grievance is not settled at Step then within ten (1 0) working days after the decision is given at Step the grievance may be referred to mediation, or arbitration by either the Bankruptcy Trustee or the Union in accordance with the terms of this grievance and arbitration procedure. If no written request for mediation, or arbitration is received within ten
