Special Shift. With prior notification by the Employer to the Business Manager, if a special shift is required by an Owner and the Employer needs to perform work which cannot be performed during regular working hours, employees may work a special shift and receive $1.50 an hour over base rate for eight (8) hours work plus thirty (30) minutes unpaid lunch after the fourth hour. No employee may work on a special shift if he has performed bargaining unit work that day during the regular working hours. The Employer's request for this special shift must include the starting date, the approximate number of employees involved and the estimated conclusion date. Other terms and conditions may be agreed to between the Business Manager and the Employer.
Special Shift. A special shift may include Saturdays; however, no employee will be required to work more than five (5) days in a seven (7) day period without the payment of overtime rates, and further provided that any employee on special shift shall be entitled to two (2) consecutive days off, one of which will be Sunday.
Special Shift. A special shift may be established at any time, at the option of the Employer, on any job or project. Said shift shall not be started until the union has been notified. There shall be no premium or penalty for working a special shift.
Special Shift. In the event of an extended school week being established, a regular shift may be established consisting of five (5) consecutive days commencing Tuesday.

By mutual agreement between the Employer and Business Manager, if the Employer is required to perform work which cannot be performed during regular working hours, and employees may work a special shift, limited to seven (7) hours work, including lunch and receive eight (8) hours pay for the seven (7) hours work. Thirty (30) minutes shall be allowed for lunch after the completion of four (4) hours work. No employee may work on a special shift if he has performed bargaining unit work that day during the regular working hours. The Employer's request for this special shift must include the starting date, the approximate number of men involved and the estimated conclusion date.

Special Shift. (S) — When an Individual Employer produces evidence, in writing, to UA Local 342 of a bona fide job requirement for an owner which certifies that work can only be done outside the normal shift hours, and notifies UA Local 342 by email at least 72 hours prior to the start of such special shift, the Employer may initiate such special shift of eight (8) consecutive hours (not in conjunction with any other shift), exclusive of the meal period, Monday through Friday.
Special Shift. A special shift for hourly-paid employees means any shift of eight (8) hours operating between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Special Shift. (a) A special shift shall be defined as eight (8) consecutive hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing with the start of such shift. It is agreed that the special shift shall be completed between 8:00 a.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. Saturday in any week.
Special Shift. If it is necessary to work special shifts other than the three specified above, the hours for each shift shall be negotiated before the commencement of work.
