Shift Penalty. (a) An additional 2.5% of the ordinary weekly rate of pay for the 1st year of experience rate applicable to the Doctor’s classification must be paid for each shift worked for a rostered shift finishing after 6 p.m.
Shift Penalty. The annual Shift Penalty is the average weekly Shift Penalty contained in the roster, multiplied by 52 weeks for 7 Day Rosters and 43.6 for all other rosters. The average weekly Shift Penalty is calculated by averaging the shift penalties listed below over a roster cycle and multiplying by the Base Weekly Rate. Afternoon Shifts 15% 12 Hour Day Shifts 5% Rotating Night Shifts 15% Permanent Night Shifts 25%

Shift Penalty. For the purposes of shift work, the following definitions apply:
Shift Penalty. 10.4.1. Public Holidays - Shift workers must be paid for all time worked on a rostered shift on a public holiday the additional penalty of 150% of single time.
Shift Penalty. Saturday - all shifts 50% of single time Sunday - all shifts 100% of single time
Shift Penalty. An employee whose shift starts before 7:00am or finishes after 8:00pm shall be paid an allowance as set out in Item 1 of Table 2 per hour or part thereof with a minimum payment as set out in Item 2 of Table 2.
Shift Penalty. Rates The following loading/s apply to the base rate of pay for Officers who work shift work Monday to Friday For any shift where time is worked outside the 7.00am to 7.00pm spread of hours, a loading of 15% shift allowance will apply to all hours worked for those rostered hours. Saturday 50% loading applies to the entire shift that commences on a Saturday. Sunday 100% loading applies to the entire shift that commences on Sunday. The penalties specified apply from the time of commencing the shift. This applies even when the shift goes into the next day.
Shift Penalty. For any employee required to work shift (afternoon or night) the first 8 hours will be paid at one and a half times ordinary time and double time thereafter.
Shift Penalty. A 15% shift penalty is payable to a shift worker under the following circumstances: Category of staff Circumstances under which shift penalty to apply Security officers where the majority of the shift is worked between 4pm and 8am Night cleaners where the shift commences at or after 10pm and before 6am Library, QPS, LETS (Technology support staff) staff where the majority of the hours are worked after 4pm Laboratory assistants (or equivalent) where the majority of the hours are worked after 4pm Parking officers where the shift concludes after 6pm
