Service Objective. The MOU sets out the services which CGPSS will be responsible for providing to the Partner and sets out the expected levels of service to be provided. Both CGPSS and the Partner have a responsibility for ensuring the service provided meets the Partner’s objectives and intended outcomes. The MOU covers CGPSS’s expected obligations for the provision of these services and for the provision of appropriate performance and reliability measurements. It also covers the expected responsibilities of, and inputs required from, the Partner. Where it is appropriate the Retained Client and CGPSS will agree any variation to the division of responsibilities as they relate to the specific services required. CGPSS and the Partner agree to work together transparently, acknowledging the inter-dependencies that exist between themselves to ensure an efficient and effective service that evolves to meet the needs of the Partner. CGPSS has an overall objective to provide quality services within a cost effective framework. Measures outlined at Annex A have been agreed between CGPSS and the Steering Board to monitor satisfaction, operational performance and resource utilisation. To achieve this objective it is essential that CGPSS and the Partner work closely together and both agree to do so.
