Seeding Clause Samples

The Seeding clause defines the requirements and procedures for introducing seeds or plant material into a specified area, typically as part of a landscaping, agricultural, or environmental restoration project. It outlines details such as the types of seeds to be used, the timing and method of application, and any preparatory steps like soil treatment or fertilization. This clause ensures that the seeding process meets agreed standards, promoting successful plant establishment and helping to achieve the intended vegetation coverage or ecological outcome.

Seeding. 11.01 All roads on the Lease are to be limed, fertilized, and seeded to a grass cover as per the requirements of this Lease as outlined in Lessee’s Erosion and Sedimentation Plan.
Seeding. Apply seed uniformly at a rate of 50 lbs per acre. Rake in lightly. Do not seed area in excess of that which can be mulched on same day.
Seeding. Seed and fertilize all disturbed areas in accordance with requirements in Section T-841.
Seeding. The tenant will seed to crop all the said land under cultivation except the portion to be summerfallowed during the term of this lease. The type and acreage of each crop to be seeded shall be determined by the: (a) tenant - or - (b) tenant and landlord by mutual agreement.
Seeding. All events will be pre-seeded using the times entered with the oldest age groups first and with the slowest heats swum first with in each age group. Note: the 400 meter and 800 meter freestyle and the 400 meters individual medley will by swum by time, not by age group, slower time would go in the first races. RELAY EVENTS: All relay team members must be affiliated with the same swimming club. A swimmer may not swim for more than one team per relay event. DEADLINE: May 16th
Seeding. A. Apply seed uniformly at a rate of 50 lbs per acre. Rake in lightly. Do not seed area in excess of that which can be mulched on same day. B. Do not sow immediately following rain, when ground is too dry, or during windy periods. C. Immediately following seeding, apply mulch to a thickness of two inches. Maintain clear of shrubs and trees. D. Apply water with a fine spray immediately after each area as been mulched. Saturate to 4 inches of soil.
Seeding. This bid item shall be paid per acre basis for the type of seed mix specified. Payment shall include the proper installation for the establishment of grass along the channel in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
Seeding. If the project results in exposed upland and/or wetland transitional areas resulting from sediment removal and or exotic removal these areas will be seeded to establish a native grass understory. Generally, steeper slopes are hydroseeded and gentler slopes are hand seeded and covered with landscape fabric to discourage erosion and encourage a native herbaceous understory. Seed mix and application rates are indicated in Table 3 below. Scientific Name Common Name Application Rate (lbs/acre) Leymus triticoides beardless ryegrass 10 Hordeum brachyantherum meadow barley 20 Festuca californica California fescue 10 Festuca rubra red fescue 10 Lupinus bicolor bicolor lupine 5 Vulpia microstachys ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ fescue 5 Sediment Prevention best management practices (BMPs) include the installation of erosion control fabrics, rice straw, straw wattles, brush mats, and other materials as necessary to prevent sediment delivery to the stream. Permanent erosion control materials will be biodegradable and selected for slope, substrate, and water velocity. All bare soils will be seeded and protected with the appropriate erosion control material. Appropriate hold-downs, including landscape staples and pins will be used to secure materials to the ground. Where appropriate and approved by the Water Agency, an energy dissipater at a storm drain outfall or other erosion control remediation BMP will be installed to demonstrate a storm water management feature.
Seeding. All disturbed areas where permanent vegetative cover is to be established shall be in accordance with City Specifications.
Seeding. Teams in the state championships will be seeded according to wildcard points calculated through the end of the district tournaments. The first-round pairings will match the following seeded teams: 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, and 4 vs. 5. If teams are tied, the wildcard tie-breaking procedure will be used to break the tie. No changes to seeding can be made once the state seeding is complete.
