Section Note Clause Samples
A Section Note clause serves to provide additional information, clarification, or commentary related to a specific section of a contract or legal document. Section Note. Employees in the Maintenance Department may not be bumped and may be retained or recalled out of seniority order to work in their classification. An employee with sufficient seniority to remain in the workforce will remain on his regular job, if it is operating. The provisions of this Note shall not be interpreted to restrict in any way the provision of Section 4.01

Section and Line of Screen Room Roll Tender Job Classifications A - The following job classifications are included in the Line of Progression from the Screen Room Operator job classification to the Roll Tender job classification: Screen Room Operator B Entry into the Screen Room Operator job classification will be either by assignment of the most capable employee, provided the employee is agreeable to such assignment or by hiring from outside. An employee will not be assigned to the Screen Room Operator unless he has the capability to advance to the Roll Tender job classification within the Line of Progression. The Company may employ testing procedures to determine which employees are the most capable of progressing through the jobs in the of Progression. In addition, such factors as the employee's proficiency, productivity and attendance in previous jobs performed the plant will be considered by the Company in selecting the employee to be transferred. If the Company determines that or more employees are equally capable, the senior employee will be awarded the job.
Section Note. The conditions of all leaves of absence shall be in with copies for the Company and the Union. If an employee violates the conditions of his leave of absence. it may be just cause for discharge.

Section Consideration Of Qualifications The application of the seniority provisions of this Agreement must be governed by considerations of whether the employee is qualified to perform the job required. If the employee is not so qualified, the applicable seniority provision will not apply.
Section Note. The processing of grievances does not include preparation time for arbitration.
Section Note. Per Diems are eligible for benefits under the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) after working 600 hours or more in a twelve (12) month period and a six month waiting period. WRS benefits include those required by law. To the extent a per diem does not meet the eligibility requirements of any of the employee benefits or benefit programs, nothing in this Article shall be interpreted so as to allow an otherwise ineligible per diem, to be considered eligible.
