Section 17.2.1. 22 Salaries contained in Schedule A shall be for the entire term of this Agreement, subject to the 23 terms and conditions of Article XVIII, Section 18.3. Should the date of execution of this 24 Agreement be subsequent to the effective date, salaries, including overtime, shall be retroactive 25 to the effective date.
Section 17.2.1. 6 Salaries contained in Schedule A shall be for the entire term of this Agreement. 7
Section 17.2.1. 35 Should the legislature, during the life of this Agreement, authorize and fund a salary, insurance 36 or increment increase, the District will pass through the additional funds to classified BEA 37 employees and apply the same adjustment to categorical employees. Salary increase funds, if 38 any, will be applied on an equal cents per hour basis to all steps on Schedule A. 40 Section 17.2.2. 41 Incremental steps, where applicable, shall take effect on September 1 of each year during the 42 term of this Agreement, provided the employee has been actively employed continuously for at 43 least one-half (½) of the previous employment year.
Section 17.2.1. 13 This Agreement may be reopened and modified at any time during its terms upon mutual 14 consent of the parties in writing.
Section 17.2.1. 46 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first regular pay day following 47 execution of this Agreement, or in the case of retroactive pay resulting from negotiations 48 pursuant to Section 22.3, on the first regular pay day following agreement on such schedule.
Section 17.2.1. 6 Schedule A will be applicable for the duration of the contract. The District shall pass along all 7 salary and State funded benefit increases for the length of the contract.
Section 17.2.1. 13 Attendance at out-of-District workshops shall be limited to one (1) employee per building on 14 any one day and four (4) on a District-wide basis, unless an exception is obtained from the 15 Superintendent. This amount shall be suspended entirely in the event of a double levy failure.

Section 17.2.1. 9 In the event the Washington State Legislature authorizes and specifically funds an increase for 10 classified employee salaries, the District agrees to negotiate Schedule A only with the Association 11 in accordance with the provisions established by the Legislature. 13 The intent of this clause shall be construed to insure that the District and the Association agree that 14 the salary allocation granted will be in strict conformity with the legislative requirements, thereby 15 avoiding any penalty to the District, while providing maximum salary improvement to members of 16 this bargaining unit.
Section 17.2.1. 37 Employee compensable entitlements shall be paid in twelve (12) equal payments, except that 38 extra trips shall be compensated the month following the performance of work, subject to the 39 District payroll preparation schedule. The District shall have the right and duty to recover/ 40 adjust monthly payments due to any change in compensable entitlements. 41
