Section 14.2.2 Sample Clauses

Section 14.2.2. 10 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction in accordance with the preceding 11 paragraph, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing the 12 following: 13 a. The facts on which the grievance is based, 14 b. A reference to the provision in this Agreement which have been allegedly violated, and 15 c. The remedy sought. 18 reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the superintendent. If the employee wishes, the 19 employee may be accompanied by a Union representative at subsequent discussions or 20 meetings. 22 The parties will have five (5) work days from submission of the written statement of grievance 23 to meet in an effort to resolve it. Within three (3) work days from the date of that meeting the 24 immediate supervisor shall provide the grievant with a written statement indicating the 25 disposition of the grievance.
Section 14.2.2. 43 Step Two (2): If the grievance is not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction in accordance with the 44 preceding subsection, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing 45 the following:

The remedy sought. 33 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the employee’s immediate 34 supervisor for reconsideration of the grievance. A copy of the grievance shall be simultaneously 35 submitted to the official in the administration responsible for personnel. The immediate supervisor 36 will have five (5) working days from submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it 37 by indicating on the statement of grievance the disposition. 38
Section 14.2.2. 41 Nothing contained in this section shall in any regard limit the operation of other sections of this 42 Article.
Section 14.2.2. 44 The parties agree to adhere to the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and the 45 Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act. 5 Section 15.1.
Section 14.2.2. The District shall post in the work area for five (5) workdays the availability of open positions 35 as soon as possible after the District is aware of the opening. Such positions shall be filled or 36 the position shall be eliminated within twenty (20) workdays following the closure of the 37 posting. The timelines, as above, may be extended under unusual circumstances upon mutual 38 consent of the parties. A copy of the job posting shall be forwarded to the President of the
Section 14.2.2. 42 Yearly steps, where applicable, shall take effect September 1 each year, provided that the 43 employee was employed for six (6) months of the previous fiscal year.

If the employee wishes, the employee may be accompanied by a Union 46 representative at this and subsequent discussions or meetings. The parties will have ten (10) 47 working days from submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it. A written 48 statement indicating the disposition of the grievance shall be furnished the aggrieved. If an 1 agreeable disposition has been made, the aggrieved party shall terminate the grievance in 2 writing within ten (10) working days.
