Section 11.1.2. 22 If the District has reason to discipline or discharge an employee, the employee shall have the 23 right to have a union representative, officer, or trustee at the discipline proceedings. Section 11.1.2. 28 Any unused benefits generated by the bargaining unit will be pooled by the District on a 1,440 29 hour = 1 FTE pro rata basis to supplement bargaining unit employee medical costs which 30 exceed their District insurance contribution.
Section 11.1.2. 25 The District shall publicize within the bargaining unit for five (5) days, classifications in which there are 26 new or open positions as soon as the District has determined that such an opening exists. A copy of the 27 job posting shall be forwarded to the Association President or their designee. If a qualified PSE member 28 should apply, the Supervisor shall interview the member. Should more than one (1) qualified PSE 29 member apply, the Supervisor shall interview a minimum of two (2). At their discretion, supervisors 30 may include a PSE member on the interview panel. Transfers within general job classifications that do 31 not change total hours and/or wages shall not be considered new or open positions.
