Respite. When a students behaviour does not improve we reserve the right to source a period of respite at another school. This may be due to a regular failure to meet school expectations and uphold our values, a serious one off situation, or to facilitate gradual reintegration to a school setting after a suspension. This placement is not a precursor for a student leaving the school but gives a student the opportunity to reset, reflect and return positively to our setting.
Respite. (5.1, 5.2): The State’s Medicaid Plan does not provide for respite care. By definition, the purpose of respite care is to relieve the client’s informal caregiver and thereby prevent breakdown in the informal support system. Respite service will include the supervision and care of a client while the family or other individuals who normally provide primary care take short-term relief or respite which allows them to continue as caregivers. Respite may also be needed in order to cover emergencies and extended absences of the caregiver. As dictated by the client’s circumstances, services will be provided In- Home (5.1) or Out-of-Home (5.2) through appropriate available resources such as board and care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, etc. Federal Financial Participation will not be claimed for the cost of room and board except when provided as part of respite care in a facility approved by the State that is not a private residence. Individuals providing services in the client’s residence shall be trained and experienced in homemaker services, personal care, or home health services, depending on the requirements in the client’s plan of care.

Respite. HOME (1 HOUR)-Respite care services offer temporary, substitute supports for older persons in order to provide a brief period of relief or rest for family members or other caregivers. This is 111-Bfunded. It is done in a one-on-one setting. This should be entered as a Registered Service in NAMIS.
Respite. The Public Authority and the Union recognize that to improve retention of IHSS Providers, prevent crises, improve consistency of care to IHSS Consumers, and to promote a better, safer working environment a plan should be developed for providing respite services to Consumers so that IBSS Providers may take time off from their regular duties. The Public Authority and the Union shall work together, through the Labor-Management Relations Committee, to develop a plan to create a mechanism for respite care services. Such a plan shall include program options that include development of a paid respite benefit for bargaining unit members and utilize the Public Authority Registry and any Union Registry mechanism that may be developed. Program mechanisms for creating a respite classification of bargaining unit members shall also be explored. Other issues to be explored by the Committee shall include, but not be limited to:

Respite. 9.2.1. Unless otherwise agreed all invoices fall due 14 (fourteen) Days after the invoice date. In the event that payment is not effected in due time, default interest at 2% per month will accrue from the due date for payment until the payment is received in full by the Supplier.
9.2.2. If the Customer has unsettled but payable debt to the Supplier for a period of 14 (fourteen) Days after the due date, and the Customer has been given written notice thereof, then without prejudice to the Supplier’s additional rights and remedies, the Supplier has the right to suspend performance of any and all other obligations under the MSA until the debt has been settled, without such suspension constituting a breach of the MSA.
9.2.3. If the Supplier sends invoices etc. to the Customer in a digital way (via email etc.) the Customer hereby in advance approves this digital procedure.
Respite. 1. Caretaker is responsible for procurement of respite providers.
2. Any agent, representative, or subcontractor of Caretaker who provides Respite services to Client on behalf of Caretaker must provide to Agency’s Director of Waiver Programs documentation of the same training by the Respite care provider as the training required by the Caretaker.
3. The Repite care provider must provide documentation to Agency’s Director of Waiver Programs of required current and up-to-date credentials including:
a) Required education or experience of the following:
i. A high school diploma or GED; AND
