Resettlement. The Borrower shall, when applicable in accordance with the provisions of the Resettlement Framework: (a) furnish to the Bank for its approval a Resettlement Plan for each Subproject; and (b) carry out the requirements specified by such Resettlement Plan in accordance with its terms.

Resettlement. 8. The Borrower shall implement the social safeguards framework as set out in the ESSF in accordance with its terms and acceptable to ADB, and shall ensure that for each Qualified Project, which involves land acquisition and has resettlement impacts, the resettlement plan is submitted to ADB for approval, before it approves the Qualified Project. The Borrower shall also ensure that adequate number of staff are trained and deployed to fully implement and comply with the ESSF.
Resettlement. (1) The Secondee shall be entitled to relocation assistance in respect of the costs of moving from his home base to the overseas location at which he has accepted an appointment. The amount of such assistance shall be determined in accordance with the Company's policies from time to time and shall be subject to the terms of such policies.
Resettlement. 6. The Beneficiary shall ensure, or cause the relevant Project Executing Agency to ensure, that all land and all rights-of-way required for the Project are made available to the Works contractor in accordance with the schedule agreed under the related Works contract and all land acquisition and resettlement activities are implemented in compliance with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Beneficiary relating to land acquisition and involuntary resettlement; (b) the Involuntary Resettlement Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in the RP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in the Safeguards Monitoring Report.
Resettlement. 8. The Borrower shall procure that IDCOL shall ensure that for each Qualified Project, which involves land acquisition and has resettlement impacts, the resettlement plan shall have been submitted to ADB for approval, before it approves the Qualified Project. The Borrower shall procure that IDCOL shall also ensure that adequate number of staff are trained and deployed to fully implement and comply with the ESSF.
Resettlement. Subject to clause 7.4, the Trustee has the power in its discretion to settle or resettle any or all of the Trust Fund upon trust for the advancement or benefit of one or more of the Beneficiaries as the Trustee decides, but the settlement or resettlement must not breach the rule against perpetuities.
Resettlement. 20. The Borrower and the States shall ensure that, where applicable, all land and right-of- way required for the Project shall be made available in a timely manner, adequate compensations are provided prior to the signing of relevant civil works contracts, and involuntary resettlement is carried out in accordance with the RF and the resettlement plan for the Project, as attached to Annex 5 of the PFR, the Borrower’s National Policy on Resettlement and Rehabilitation, ADB’s Policy on Involuntary Resettlement (1995), and applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and the States..
Resettlement. This sub-activity will support implementation of the RAP previously developed in collaboration with the relevant Government agencies, to compensate approximately 800 families who lose land rights or access to resources, with land in the irrigated perimeter or, where the land option is refused, other compensation options. Physically relocated resettlers will be provided with construction materials or built houses. For reasons of social equity, this sub-activity will implement procedures to provide equitable access to both dry and rainy season water and additional supporting measures during the first year of farming to assist these agro-pastoralist families to take up irrigated rice cultivation successfully.
