Common use of Resettlement Clause in Contracts

Resettlement. 8. The Borrower shall implement the social safeguards framework as set out in the ESSF in accordance with its terms and acceptable to ADB, and shall ensure that for each Qualified Project, which involves land acquisition and has resettlement impacts, the resettlement plan is submitted to ADB for approval, before it approves the Qualified Project. The Borrower shall also ensure that adequate number of staff are trained and deployed to fully implement and comply with the ESSF.

The Borrower shall also ensure that adequate number numbers of staff are trained and deployed to fully implement and comply with the ESSF.
