Representations of Lessee Clause Samples

The 'Representations of Lessee' clause requires the lessee to formally declare certain facts or assurances about their legal status, authority, and ability to enter into the lease agreement. Typically, this includes confirming that the lessee is duly organized, has the power to execute the lease, and that entering into the agreement does not violate any other contracts or laws. By including these representations, the clause provides the lessor with confidence that the lessee is both eligible and authorized to fulfill the lease, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes or invalidity of the agreement.
