Redundancy Package. (a) Employees will be paid four weeks’ pay in lieu of notice or given four weeks’ notice. Those employees aged over 45 years and with not less than two years continuous service will receive an additional weeks’ notice or payment in lieu of notice.
(b) Employees who are retrenched, will be paid four weeks’ redundancy pay for the first year of service and three weeks' redundancy pay for each year of service following or part thereof.

Redundancy Package. Employees will receive redundancy benefits on the basis of full pay for period(s) of full-time service and pro-rata pay for periods of part-time service. An employee whose employment is terminated for reasons set out in clause 2 of Part 10 shall be entitled to the following.
Redundancy Package. 27.7.1 Where an employee leaves the organisation through redundancy, the following redundancy package will be paid in addition to existing leave entitlements:
27.7.2 Payment in lieu of notice - 4 weeks
27.7.2.1 Additional payment in lieu of notice (if aged 45 years and over) - 1 week.
27.7.2.2 Payment for each year of service - 3 weeks uncapped.
27.7.2.3 Where an employee has been employed with the Council for a minimum of five (5) completed years, pro rata long service leave shall be provided if the employee is not otherwise entitled to pro rata long service leave under the Local Government Long Service Leave Regulations.
27.7.3 Provided that the severance payments shall not exceed the amount which the employee would have earned if employment with the employer had proceeded to the employee’s normal retirement date.
27.7.4 Where a motor vehicle is considered a part of an employee’s salary package payment shall be made for the value of the vehicle use. The value of the motor vehicle use shall be that specified in the employee’s contract of employment. This will be divided by 52 and added to an employee’s weekly rate of pay for the purposes of determining the payment to be made pursuant to the above severance benefit(s).
Redundancy Package. Employees who obtain a redundancy package will receive a separation payment as follows:
Redundancy Package i Employees whose position is deemed redundant and are not successfully redeployed shall on termination be, in addition to any payment in lieu of notice, paid a special lump sum redundancy package in full settlement of all employment related claims calculated as follows: - Seven weeks salary for the first full year of service, or pro-rata for those with less than one full year of service. - Three weeks salary for each subsequent year of continuous service. - Plus a pro-rata payment of each completed month of service. - The maximum payment under this policy shall be 90 weeks' pay.
