Protected Disclosure Sample Clauses

The Protected Disclosure clause establishes the right and process for individuals to report concerns or wrongdoing, such as violations of law or company policy, without fear of retaliation. Typically, this clause outlines the types of disclosures covered, the channels through which reports can be made (such as to a compliance officer or whistleblower hotline), and the protections afforded to those making disclosures in good faith. Its core function is to encourage transparency and accountability by safeguarding whistleblowers, thereby addressing the problem of underreporting due to fear of adverse consequences.
