PRELIMINARY DESIGN SERVICES. This task consists of all services necessary to take the project from beginning through the Preliminary Design submittal stage and may include the following itemized services.

Consult with the Owner to define and clarify the Owner's Requirements for the Project, including the Owner’s budgetary limitations; to review the memorandum titled “Building S/1 Renovations, Technical Memorandum No. 1 – Technical Requirements” dated September 26, 2008 and prepared by the Bridging Consultant (“Owner’s Requirements”); and to identify available data. Any proposed changes to the Owner’s Requirements shall be documented by the Contractor and submitted to the Owner as proposed revisions to such September 26, 2008 Technical Memorandum cited above. Any proposed changes approved in writing by the Owner shall be incorporated into the Technical Memorandum by the Contractor and the revised Technical Memorandum shall be the “Owner’s Requirements.”
PRELIMINARY DESIGN SERVICES. Service that will identify and assess the Project needs coupled with developing recommendations based on the findings to establish the type and limits of the proposed Improvements.
PRELIMINARY DESIGN SERVICES. BION will coordinate the site specific Bion NMS design. BION will prepare the initial System layout and specifications necessary for the PRODUCER to prepare the detailed construction drawings and final specifications required for construction of the Bion NMS on the PRODUCER'S site. BION will be available continuously during this engineering phase for consultation. The final design drawings will be completed with due regard for the comments received from the PRODUCER during review of the preliminary design drawings. BION will supply the final verification of completeness of the drawings, with the PRODUCER's mutual consent. PRODUCER will provide BION with three (3) copies of the final design drawings and specifications. BION will prepare an engineering design report, if required, detailing all calculations and design criteria. BION will also prepare a permit application, if required, for PRODUCER.
PRELIMINARY DESIGN SERVICES a. Obtain and review available data relating to the Project; visit the site to observe existing conditions; and consult with the COUNTY to clarify and define the requirements for the project.

Any proposed changes to the Owner’s Requirements shall be documented by the Contractor and submitted to the Owner as proposed revisions to such August 2014 Technical Memorandum cited above. Any proposed changes approved in writing by the Owner shall be incorporated into the Technical Memorandum by the Contractor and the revised Technical Memorandum shall be the “Owner’s Requirements.”
