Permit to Work. 40.1 This section explains the LFC's Permit to Work procedure. A Permit to Work will be required for most work within the Central Office beyond the day to day operation of the Service Provider Equipment within the Service Provider's Footprint. The purpose of the Permit to Work procedure is so that the LFC has prior notice of all significant activity on the LFC Sites and can respond appropriately in the event of an outage.

Permit to Work. The purpose is to manage the risk of hazardous work and work that could interfere with other hazardous operations.
Permit to Work. (PTW) system No work shall be carried out without a "Permit to Work" The Contractor complies with the Employer’s Plant Safety Regulations and Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems. The Contractor ensures that all Supervisors attend Employer’s Plant Safety Regulations and Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems training. The Contractor must ensure that as a minimum two Supervisors are authorised as Authorised Supervisors before works can commence.
