Permissible Equipment Sample Clauses

Permissible Equipment. Pathnet is permitted to place in its collocation space only equipment that is used or useful for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. Pathnet shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. Pathnet may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, and metal storage cabinets. Metal storage cabinets must meet GTE wire center environmental standards.

Permissible Equipment. Link is permitted to place in its collocation space only equipment that is used or useful for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. @Link shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. @Link may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, and metal storage cabinets. NEWSOUTH shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. NEWSOUTH may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, and metal storage cabinets. Metal storage cabinets must meet GTE wire center environmental standards.

Permissible Equipment. Verizon shall permit the Collocation and use of any equipment necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements, subject to the following: (1) Equipment is necessary for interconnection if an inability to deploy that equipment would, as a practical, economic, or operational matter, preclude SBCT from obtaining interconnection with Verizon at a level equal in quality to that which Verizon obtains within its own network or Verizon provides to any of its Affiliates, subsidiaries, or other parties. (2) Equipment is necessary for access to an unbundled network element if an inability to deploy that equipment would, as a practical, economic, or operational matter, preclude SBCT from obtaining nondiscriminatory access to that unbundled network element, including any of its features, functions, or capabilities. (3) Multi-functional equipment shall be deemed necessary for interconnection or access to an unbundled network element if and only if the primary purpose and function of the equipment, as SBCT seeks to deploy it, meets either or both of the standards set forth in the preceding paragraphs (1) and (2). For a piece of equipment to be utilized primarily to obtain equal in quality interconnection or nondiscriminatory access to one or more unbundled network elements, there also must be a logical nexus between the additional functions the equipment would perform and the telecommunication services SBCT seeks to provide to its Customers by means of the interconnection or unbundled network element. The Collocation of those functions of the equipment that, as stand-alone functions, do not meet either of the standards set forth in the preceding paragraphs (1) and (2), must not cause the equipment to significantly increase the burden on Verizon’s property.

Bayland shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. Bayland may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, metal storage cabinets and work surfaces (e.g., tables). Metal storage cabinets and work surfaces must meet CenturyTel standards.

Permissible Equipment. GLOBALBYES is permitted to place in its collocation space only equipment that is used or useful for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. GLOBALBYES shall not place in collocation space equipment that designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. GLOBALEYES may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, and metal storage cabinets. Metal storage cabinets must meet GTE wire center environmental standards.

Permissible Equipment. NEN is permitted to place in its collocation space equipment that is used or useful for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. Equipment used for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements includes, but is not limited to: (a) Transmission equipment including, but not limited to, optical terminating equipment and multiplexers; (b) Equipment being collocated to terminate basic transmission facilities; and (c) Digital subscriber line access multiplexers, routers, asynchronous transfer mode multiplexers, and remote switching modules. NEN shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. NEN may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, and metal storage cabinets. Metal storage cabinets must meet GTE wire center environmental standards.

Lakeland shall not place in its collocation space equipment that is designed exclusively for switching or enhanced services and that are not necessary for interconnection or access to unbundled network elements. Lakeland may place in its collocation space ancillary equipment such as cross connect frames, metal storage cabinets and work surfaces (e.g., tables). Metal storage cabinets and work surfaces must meet Tel USA standards.
