This course is based on the students improving their core knowledge of critical reading, vocabulary, algebra, geometry, essay writing, editing and grammar and the type of questions asked on the SAT and ACT exams. Parents may help by quizzing their children on vocabulary and using the newly acquired words at home. The Professional Tutoring programs are designed to support students in their goals through academic tutoring, test preparation and/or coaching. Mature behavior is expected from students/families/representatives at all times. If the undersigned student’s/family’s/representative’s behavior is incompatible with the interest, harmony, comfort or welfare of the Professional Tutoring’s programs, the undersigned student may be suspended and/or dismissed from Professional Tutoring programs at the sole discretion of Professional Tutoring. In such a case, the full contracted tuition and fees will be due to Professional Tutoring as per this Agreement. No refunds will be provided.

It is essential that the following guidelines be followed to ensure the safe, efficient, and ethical operation of this device: • supervise my child’s use of the Chromebook at home, including use of the Internet and email • discuss our family’s values and expectations regarding the use of the Internet and email at home • not attempt to repair the Chromebook, nor will I attempt to clean it with anything other than a soft, dry cloth • report to the school any problems with the Chromebook and I will not load or delete any software from the Chromebook • make sure my child recharges the Chromebook battery nightly and brings the Chromebook to school every day • I understand that if my child comes to school without the Chromebook, I may be called to bring it to school • I agree to make sure the Chromebook is returned to school when requested and upon my child’s withdrawal from Lancaster City Schools.

Parent Responsibilities. Your student's assigned laptop is an important learning tool to be used for educational purposes only. In order for your student to take the laptop home each day, you must be willing to accept the following responsibilities: • When using the laptop at home, school or anywhereelse, I will requiremy student to follow the policies of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Local School District and abide by all local, state, and federal laws. • I will hold my student responsible to recharge the laptop on a nightly basis and take it to school each day. • I understand that the laptop is the property of the school district. (See “Associated Fees” below.) • I will make sure my student understands that e-mail or any other computer communication should be used only for appropriate, educational, legitimate, and responsible communication and only used at appropriate times. • I agree that all school rules apply to the use of the technology anywhere and anytime the technology is used. • I will return the laptop computer in the condition it was received anytime that it is requested and/or upon the withdrawal of my student from school.
Parent Responsibilities. 5.1 The Parents accepts the Anglican ethos of the School and agrees to cooperate fully with the School to promote the student’s education, including by involving themselves in the life of the School, and being responsive to the School’s concerns.
5.2 The Parents agree to familiarise themselves and abide by the School’s codes of conduct, policies, procedures, rules and values.
5.3 The Parents must make all necessary arrangements to ensure that the student is prepared to commence school at the start of a term, and attend school for the entire duration of the term.
5.4 The Parents must keep themselves informed of matters relating to the student’s enrolment via the Hive and School website, or otherwise as directed by the School.
5.5 The Parents are responsible to ensure:
5.5.1 they will advise the School of any matter related to the intellectual, physical, social development or any other matter related to the Student which may affect the School’s ability to educate the Student;
5.5.2 the Student has a valid passport and visa at all times;
5.5.3 all applicable fees are fully paid including OSHC;
5.5.4 the School is notified immediately of any change to the Student’s visa status;
5.5.5 the School is notified of any change of information and contact details (including residential address, email and phone numbers) of the Parents, emergency contacts and Student;
5.5.6 they will do all things necessary to ensure that the student is familiar with and complies with the School’s Student Behaviour Rules, codes of conduct, directions, policies, procedures, rules, philosophy, imperatives and values; and
5.5.7 they keep a copy of this Agreement as supplied by the School, and receipts of any payments of tuition fees or non-tuition fees.
