Packaging Requirements. 4.1 The Counterparty shall properly pack the Equipment to prevent its damage during transportation to the final destination. The cost of packing and packing material is included in the price of the Equipment. The Equipment shall be shipped to MegaFon in a package conforming to the specifications for a particular type of such Equipment. The packing shall prevent any unauthorized opening with further restoration of the packing.
4.2 The Counterparty shall be liable to MegaFon for damage and/or loss of the Equipment due to poor quality and/or improper packaging until the Parties sign a certificate on transfer of the Equipment.
4.3 Each piece of Equipment shall be delivered in individual boxed package with mandatory marking in the form of a label with QR-code or bar code indicating the name, quantity and type of Equipment in this package, as well as its serial and manufacturer's part numbers. 4.4 If it is not possible to pack each piece of equipment in a separate package, the equipment is supplied complete in the same package, and the package must be marked with a label bearing a QR-code or barcode, indicating the name of each item of the Equipment item in the package, the number of the main device of the complete set, serial numbers, manufacturer's parts numbers. If the set includes equipment that does not have serial numbers, the QR code or bar code for these equipment shall contain manufacturer's part numbers and product codes for the equipment. The counterparty shall also provide MegaFon with a complete description of the QR code mask.
4.5 The Counterparty shall oblige the intermediary (carrier, 3PL operator) not to cover the labels indicating the quantity of the Equipment in this package and its serial numbers with its own marking.
4.6 The boxes placed on the pallet shall be placed so that the details (sticker) of the name, serial number and quantity of pieces in the box are / is available for visual inspection.
4.7 The height of the supplied packaged Equipment on the pallet shall comply with the manufacturer's standards.
4.8 The pallet shall be wrapped in the transparent stretch film with a packing list attached.
4.9 The pallet shall be equipped with an inclination sensor and an impact sensor if necessary for the carriage of certain equipment.

Packaging Requirements. Vendor must prepare Products for shipment as specified by the UA Purchase Order.

All packaging must be compliant with the Toxics in Packaging Prevention Act (AB 455) and must meet all additional standards and requirements set forth in the UC Sustainable Practices Policy. In addition, the University requires that all packaging meet at least one of the criteria listed below:

Packaging Requirements. Proposers shall individually label all packages constituting the SOQ as follows:
Packaging Requirements. All product packaging must meet industry best standards and practices. In addition, packaging must conform to the actual freight carriers requirements and be able to withstand the reasonable and normal hazards of transportation and handling, both inbound and for subsequent distribution, and for warehouse storage. Claims and costs resulting from poorly packaged products or improper unitization or loading may be charged back to your company, including administrative fees. All shipments must be tendered to carriers in a sorted and segregated manner, and with the notation “Merchandise tendered in a sorted and segregated manner” appearing in the body of the bill of lading or freight receipt. Flavors and sizes must be shipped exactly as ordered, and only full cartons may be shipped. Two (2) packing slips containing an itemized list of all product shipped must be included with each shipment and must at a minimum include the following information: • Purchase Order number • Wakefern item code number • Item description, to include pack and size • UPC Code or vendor item code • Quantity shipped by item and by total • Weight sheets (Net Weight) • Sell by dates • Tally sheet for random weight product setting forth case weights for all cases shipped. One (1) packing slip must be placed on the lead carton of the shipment, and the other sealed in an envelope and attached to the bill of lading or freight receipt. Notification of the tendered packing slip as an item shipped must appear in the body of the bill of lading or freight receipt, e.g., 2 cartons and 1 packing slip. NOTE: Failure to provide packing slips in the above described manner may result in a chargeback to your company, to cover additional costs and administrative fees. Packaging Requirements. 4.4.1 Party B shall package materials in small, medium and outer packages as specified by Party A. Labels posted on the small, medium and outer packages of materials shall read clearly the purchase order number, material code, specification, model and quantity without signs of correction; and the packing boxes shall be intact.
4.4.2 Party B shall package materials for Party A’s convenience for counting; there shall be only one packaging mantissa for one type of materials delivered at a time; and the packing boxes shall be KMK cartons (which can be recycled by Party B) as required by Party A. Party B may entrust Party A to purchase cartons for it if necessary, with expenses borne by Party B; where the packaging fails to meet Party A’s requirements, Party A shall have the right to refuse to accept goods and shall be free from any responsibility for all losses arising therefrom.
4.4.3 Mixed packaging or freight shortage is not allowed. For freight shortage, Party A shall take delivery as per the quantity of materials actually received; Party B shall be fined 10 times of materials for three times or more of freight shortage; for a mixed package, Party A shall take delivery as per the material name marked on the label posted on the said package and the actual number counted of the said material; materials mixed shall be deemed as disqualified by Party A.
