NOW. Records of student achievement, based upon grade level performance in reading and mathematics and other commonly accepted measures of academic progress, will be maintained by the District. While These records are not to be included in the certificated employees’ personnel files. they Such records will be assessed at least annually to monitor program and instructional effectiveness based upon objective data and will be used in the evaluation of certificated staff as provided for in WAC 392.191A.

NOW. C. A request to use personal leave will be made at least two (2) business days before taking such leave, except during May and June (see “C” “D” below). The requests for personal leave will either be for a half or full day(s), based on 50% or 100% of an employee’s regular workday hours. Personal leave days may not be available for the day before or the day after any vacation period created by a recognized holiday or teacher workshop day. At no time will more than two (2) consecutive personal leave days be approved. Unless approved by the Superintendent, personal leave days may not be used during the first and last week of each semester. APPENDICES EXHIBIT A Note regarding Exhibit A – Statewide Salary Allocation Schedule for Certificated Instructional Staff on page 17: Last minute changes were made by the legislature on 6.29.13 to the salary schedule for 2013-14 and 2014-15 in that the 1.9% reduction that was applied to the state salary schedule in 2011-12 was restored. The 2013-2014 salary schedule on page 17 was modified to reflect the restoration of salaries to the 2010-12 level. EXHIBIT E Exhibit E, consisting of WAC 392.121.261, .262, and .264 was deleted from the agreement.
