New Engine Option. 2.1.1.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the “New Engine Option” or “NEO”) that will be applicable to the A319-100, A320-200 and A321-200 model aircraft. The specification of the A320 Family NEO Aircraft will be derived from the relevant Standard Specification and will include (i) as applicable, the Propulsion Systems set forth in Clauses 2.3.4, 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 below, (ii) Sharklets, (iii) airframe structural adaptations, and (iv) Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate A320 Family NEO Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.
New Engine Option. 2.1.2.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the “New Engine Option” or “NEO”), applicable to the Aircraft. The specification of the NEO Aircraft shall be derived from the current Standard Specification and based on the new Propulsion Systems, as set forth in Clause 2.3 below, and Sharklets, combined with the required airframe structural adaptations, as well as Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such NEO Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs listed in Appendix 1 to Exhibits A-1 and Appendix 1 to Exhibit A-2, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.

The specification of the A319/A320/A321 NEO Aircraft shall be derived from the current A319/A320/A321 respective Standard Specifications and based on the new Propulsion Systems, as set forth in Clause 2.3 below, and Sharklets, as well as required airframe structural modifications and Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such New Engine Option Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs listed in Exhibit B of this Amendment N°2, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.
New Engine Option. Clause 2.1.1.1 of the Agreement is amended by replacing the words “Clauses 2.3.4, 2.3.5 and 2.3.6” with “Clauses 2.4.4, 2.4.5 and 2.4.6”.

The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs respectively listed in Exhibit “B”, Exhibit “D” and Exhibit “F”, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer. New Engine Option. 2.1.2.3.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the "New Engine Option" or "NEO"), applicable to the A330 type aircraft. The specification of A330-800neo Aircraft shall be derived from the current A330-200 standard specification [**] and include the new sole source A330neo Propulsion Systems, as set forth in Clause 2.2 below, and Sharklets, as well as wing span extension, aerodynamic adaptations of the wing and wing-to-fuselage junction, required airframe structural modifications and aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such A330neo Aircraft (collectively the “New Engine Option Changes”). The implementation of these New Engine Option Changes [**] shall be reflected in the first issue of the A330neo aircraft standard specification (the “A330neo Standard Specification”) when the design of such A330neo aircraft type shall have been frozen (the “NEO Specification Freeze”). The Buyer acknowledges and agrees that certain options from the currently available Option Catalogues or set forth in Appendix 1 to Exhibit A hereto may not be applicable or certified for the A330neo Aircraft.

The specification of the Group 2 A320 Aircraft will be derived from the current A320 Standard Specification and based on the Group 2 A320 Aircraft Propulsion System selected by the Buyer in accordance with Clause 2.3.2 below, and Sharklets, as well as required airframe structural modifications and Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such New Engine Option Aircraft. *****, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, upon the freeze of the technical configuration applicable to the combination of the respective A319/A320/A321 Standard Specification(s) and the corresponding Irrevocable SCNs, the Seller shall issue respectively an A319-100N NEO Standard Specification Issue 1 (the “A319 NEO Standard Specification”), an A320-200N NEO Standard Specification Issue 1 (the “A320 NEO Standard Specification”) and an A321-200N NEO Standard Specification Issue 1 (the “A321 NEO Standard Specification”), which shall each automatically supersede the combination of the respective A319/A320/A321 Standard Specification(s) and the corresponding Irrevocable SCNs. The A319 NEO Aircraft, the A320 NEO Aircraft and the A321 NEO Aircraft shall be manufactured in accordance with each such Issue 1 of the A319 NEO Standard Specification, the A320 NEO Standard Specification and the A321 NEO Standard Specification, as applicable, as may already have been modified or varied at the date of this Agreement by the Specification Change Notices listed in Appendix 1 to Exhibit A.
