Network Resources. The use of the school network is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked if abused. The student is personally responsible for his/her actions when utilizing the school's computer resources. Despite our best efforts and beyond the limits of filtering technology, your child may run across areas of adult content and some material you might find objectionable. Privacy – Network storage areas are the property of the school district. The Network Administrator may review any storage area of the school network to maintain system integrity and to ensure that students are using the system responsibly. Copying/Downloading – Students are NOT permitted to download or install any software, shareware, or freeware onto the school 's computers. Students are NOT permitted to copy others' work or intrude into others' folders. Inappropriate Materials or Language – Students are NOT permitted to transmit, retrieve or store materials that are discriminatory, harassing, obscene, pornographic, or inappropriate. Should students encounter such material by accident, they should report it to their teacher immediately. The use of District online systems for personal gain, political lobbying or any other purpose which is illegal or against District policy or contrary to the District's best interest is NOT permitted. Student Understanding I understand that passwords are private. I will not allow others to use my account name and password, or try to use that of others. I understand that my school network and email accounts are owned by the District and are not private. Xxxxxxxx Public Schools has the right to access my information at any time. I will be polite and use appropriate language in my digital communications with others. I will refrain from using profanity, vulgarities or any other inappropriate language as determined by school administrators. I will use email and technology resources (e.g. blogs, wikis, podcasting, chat, instant- messaging, discussion boards, virtual learning environments, etc.) responsibly. I will not use digital devices or the Internet to send or post hate or harassing mail, pornography, make discriminatory or derogatory remarks about others, or engage in bullying, harassment, or other antisocial behaviors either at school or at home. Network Resources. Network services refers to all aspects of BCHS’s owned or leased equipment, including computers, printers, scanners and other peripherals, as well as email, domain cloud, Internet services, servers, network files and folders, and all other technology---related equipment and services. These rules apply to any use of BCHS’s network resources whether this access occurs while on or off the school premises. Accessing the Internet and network resources is a privilege granted for the primary purpose of conducting research, completing class assignments, and gaining familiarity with evolving electronic communications. Email is not guaranteed to be private. People who administer the system have access to g-mail accounts.

Network Resources. Unless otherwise directed by the Board, the Network Administrator in coordination with the Technical Working Group establishes and approves all Network Resource Plans. These plans are used to develop the radio programming files.
Network Resources. SunGard shall privately manage the SGN as a protocol-independent, multi-layer network. After Customer has been switched onto the SGN, the applicable Network Services will be available on a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week basis excluding downtime attributable to routine and preventative maintenance. Dedicated circuits connecting Customer locations to SunGard facilities or SGN POPs are provided by third parties and do not constitute Recovery Resources. The Network Services are provided subject to the availability of the necessary services by SunGard's underlying network and Internet service providers. SunGard may, without penalty, and by providing Customer with thirty (30) days prior written notice, terminate any Schedule or withhold provision of the Network Services if: (a) SunGard's underlying network and Internet service providers withdraw or substantially alter any underlying tariff(s) resulting in a material, adverse effect on SunGard's operational or financial ability to provide the Network Services; or (b) any public utility commission or other regulatory authority asserts jurisdiction over the Network Services, such that SunGard would be required to submit to common carrier, public utility or other regulation to which SunGard is not now subject.
