Meal Plan Options. University dining rates are adjusted annually by the Board of Trustees. The rates are for dining only and do not include the cost of housing. The 2021-22 academic year room rates and board rates will be approved by the Board of Trustees by June 2021. Rates are subject to change and may be found on the BGSU Dining Website . Specific room and meal plan charges will be reflected on the Student’s Bursar bill which will be electronically posted by the Office of the Bursar beginning in July. The University Board of Trustees reserves the right to change or modify the room rates outlined herein as economic conditions warrant.
Meal Plan Options. Housing shall provide the following meal plan options: 7 Day Continuous Dining with $200 Declining Balance per semester, 5 Day Continuous Dining with $100 Declining Balance per semester, 112 Block with $200 Declining Balance per semester (Apartment Residents Only) or 80 Block with $200 Declining Balance per semester (Apartment Residents Only). The 7 Day Continuous Dining plan provides unlimited access to The Gastronome seven days each week during regular meal hours. The 5 Day Continuous Dining plan provides unlimited access to The Gastronome Monday through Friday during regular meal hours. Block meal plans provide either 112 or 80 individual entrances to The Gastronome for any meal at any time during a semester. Each meal plan comes with a specified amount of declining balance credits that can be used for purchases in the Late Night Cafe or the Community Market.
Meal Plan Options. Hood College offers an integrated room and board plan. The College offers two meal plan options for on-campus students: (1) an All Access meal plan and, (2) a 10-meal plan.
Meal Plan Options a. Residents of UNI’s traditional and suite-style residence halls are required to have a residential meal plan for the duration of the contract term.
b. Residents of UNI’s apartment-style halls (with university-supplied kitchens in the unit) and students living off campus are eligible to purchase any meal plan or no meal plan.
c. Additional upgrades (Booster Packs and Dining Dollars) are a one-time purchase and can be added at any time.

Gold Meal Plan provides meal points for approximately fifteen (15) meals in The Serveries at the Dining Commons each week and includes $150 flex dollars (Flex$) per year ($75 each semester). This plan provides 945 meal points and includes 10 guest passes each semester as part of the total meal point calculation. Meal points and Flex$ expire at the end of each semester and do not roll over.
2. Green Meal Plan provides meal points for approximately ten (10) meals in The serveries at the Dining Commons each week and includes $250 Flex$ per year ($125 each semester). This plan provides 630 meal points and includes five guest passes each semester as part of the total meal point calculation. Meal points and Flex$ expire at the end of each semester and do not roll over.
3. Independence Meal Plan provides meal points for approximately eight (8) meals in The serveries at the Dining Commons each week and includes $100 Flex$ per year ($50 each semester). This plan provides 504 meal points and includes three guest passes each semester as part of the total meal point calculation. Meal points expire at the end of each semester and do not roll over. This meal plan is only available to residents who have junior or higher class-level status (60 or more completed units).

NO RAM ID CARD, NO MEAL! Card activation and use is processed and monitored through the Blackboard Office in the Office of Information Technology. Replacement card fee for lost, stolen or damaged ID card is $25 per card. Dining Dollars may be used to purchase breakfast, lunch, a candy bar, chips, soft drink, etc., again essentially any item sold in the dining hall. The meal plan holder is not limited as to what he/she may purchase during the day as long as funds are available on the meal plan. Dining Dollars may be used in the evening to purchase items not included with the evening meal, i.e. items in any retail establishment on any ASU campus. Commuter students may purchase both board and dining dollar plans throughout a semester. There are no deadlines for adding meal plans for commuter students; however, meal plans do not roll over from semester-to-semester. Any meals left at the end of each semester are forfeited. A new meal plan must be requested each semester, if desired. Any unused dining dollars that remain at the end of each semester are refunded 30 days from the last day of the semester. Note: unused dining dollars will be refunded at a cost equal to or less than the initial cost of plan, i.e., if the $150 dining dollar plan is chosen, a refund cannot exceed $150. For example, if the $150 dining dollar plan is chosen and a $50 remaining balance is left at the end of the semester, the refund processed would be $30.
