Margin Percentage Sample Clauses

The Margin Percentage clause defines the specific percentage of collateral or margin that a party must maintain in relation to their obligations under an agreement. In practice, this clause sets a required ratio between the value of posted collateral and the underlying exposure, such as requiring a party to maintain collateral equal to 105% of the exposure amount. Its core function is to ensure that sufficient security is always available to cover potential losses, thereby reducing credit risk and providing financial assurance to the parties involved.
