MANUSCRIPT Clause Samples
The MANUSCRIPT clause defines the requirements and expectations for the delivery of a written work, such as a book, article, or report, by an author to a publisher or client. It typically outlines the format, length, submission deadlines, and any specific content or style guidelines the manuscript must meet. For example, it may require the manuscript to be submitted in a particular file format, adhere to a word count, or include certain sections. This clause ensures both parties are clear on what constitutes acceptable delivery of the manuscript, helping to prevent disputes over quality or completeness.
