Lubricants. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a company in the Fuel Category may also manufacture lubricants (i.e., motor oil, etc.) and other products or offer other services (i.e., convenience stores) other than automotive fuel (collectively “Non-Fuel Products”). Such Non-Fuel Products sponsorships may be permitted subject to IMSA approval and provided the team’s racing car, uniforms, transporter and at-track equipment etc., cannot feature the brand, logo, trademark or product or service identification of a i) fuel, or ii) fuel retailer, or iii) a corporate brand name of a company in the Fuel Category without specific reference to the Non-Fuel Products brand.
Lubricants. Contractor shall furnish all lubricants, which shall comply with specifications, and lubricants recommended by the equipments manufacturer for the particular device to be lubricated. Oils and greases shall be of an approved manufacturer. Rope lubricants shall conform to recommendation of ANSI Inspection Manual.
1. The Contractor shall clean and properly lubricate all sheave bearings on motor operated brakes and refill gear cases and guide lubricators when required. All oil reservoirs shall be maintained at proper level and shall be kept properly sealed to prevent leakage.
2. Surplus oil shall be wiped off and rip pans provided and placed as needed.
3. The Contractor shall touch up with matching paint any scars, chips, scratches, or abrasions, or other places where paint has been marred, whether such mars are pre-existing or due to negligence of the Contractor’s personnel.
4. The Contractor shall provide an approved type metal waste can in each elevator machine room.
5. Contractor will keep the guide rails properly lubricated, secured and aligned at all times except where roller guides are used, and when necessary renew guide shoe gibs or guide rollers in order to assure smooth and quiet operations.
6. Contractor shall maintain chart to show lubrication complete. Chart shall be available at any time for City Designee to review. The respective department will designate a location for the Contractor to place the chart(s).
7. Contractor will also examine, lubricate, and adjust repair and/or replace the following equipment:
a. Interlocks
b. Car and Hatch Door Operators
c. Car and Hatch Door Hangers
d. Door Closers
Lubricants. Equipment for processing foods that contain bearings and gears maintained and operated with non-food grade lubricants must be designed and constructed so that lubricants cannot leak, drip, or contaminate food or food contact surfaces.
Lubricants. 7 Except as approved in writing by the City Representative on an 8 individual vehicle basis, CONTRACTOR shall utilize re-refined motor oil and re- 9 refined hydraulic oil in all vehicles used by CONTRACTOR in the performance of 10 this Agreement, to the extent that such re-refined lubricants are available and do 11 not void a manufacturers warranty.
Lubricants. Except as approved in writing by CITY’s Director of 9 Environmental Services on an individual vehicle basis, CONTRACTOR shall utilize re- 10 refined motor oil and re-refined hydraulic oil in all vehicles used by CONTRACTOR in 11 the performance of this Agreement.
Lubricants. All the lubricants shall be those recommended by the manufacturer of the vehicle and shall be specified in the test report.
Lubricants. Upon request of Owner and at no charge, Prolong shall provide ---------- Owner with Prolong products as necessary for use in the Racing Events. Owner agrees that no lubricant other than Prolong shall be used in Owner's race cars during the term of this Agreement, except as provided for in 3(h), as long as the Prolong product is technically capable for the application.
Lubricants. 2.4.1. The following manufacturer's approved lubricants shall be provided by the Contractor in the performance of the Services:
1. Gear oil (to be changed once a year), bearing oil or grease, hoist rope dressing (to be applied sparingly when needed), buffer oil (checked annually), dashpot oil, any door track and roller lubricants, rail oil, hydraulic oil (to be kept, cleaned and filtered, as needed) and all general lubricants.
2. Removal and disposal of oil, solvents and grease or similar substances shall be in accordance with the Standards, all applicable safety regulations and environmental standards and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS).
Lubricants. 2.10.1 Owner will review manufacturer's lubrication recommendations and advise Kvaerner of lubricants to be used.
2.10.2 Owner will provide all operating lubricants.
2.10.3 Kvaerner will make initial installation of operating lubricants.
Lubricants. The lubricants, including oils and grease, used shall comply with the specifications for lubricants recommended by the equipment manufacturer of the Conveyance Equipment. Rope lubricants shall conform to manufacturer's recommendation and ANSl/ASME Inspector's Manual A17.
