LOCKS AND KEYS. The RESIDENT MAY NOT install additional locking devices or other security devices in the PREMISES without the written consent from the MANAGEMENT. If approved, the RESIDENT will supply the MANAGEMENT office with duplicate keys. The RESIDENT shall not alter or modify in any way any locks provided by the MANAGEMENT. The RESIDENT shall be responsible to restore the PREMISES to the exact condition as it was prior to the installation of locks or other security devices and all damages to the PREMISES shall be paid to the MANAGEMENT by the RESIDENT. Upon termination of this LEASE, RESIDENT shall surrender to the MANAGEMENT all keys issued to the PREMISES or be liable for costs incurred to replace the locks and keys.

LOCKS AND KEYS. Tenant shall use such standard key system designated by Landlord on all keyed doors to and within the Premises, excluding any permitted vaults or safes (but Landlord’s designation shall not be deemed a representation of adequacy to prevent unlawful entry or criminal acts, and Tenant shall maintain such additional insurance as Tenant deems advisable for such events). Tenant shall not attach or permit to be attached additional locks or similar devices to any door or window, change existing locks or the mechanism thereof, or make or permit to be made any keys for any door other than those provided by Landlord. If more than two keys for one lock are desired, Landlord will provide them upon payment of Landlord’s charges. In the event of loss of any keys furnished by Landlord, Tenant shall pay Landlord’s reasonable charges therefor. The term “key” shall include mechanical, electronic or other keys, cards and passes. Landlord shall not be liable for the consequences of admitting by pass key or refusing to admit to the Premises the Tenant, Tenant’s agent or employees or other persons claiming the right of admittance.
LOCKS AND KEYS. UTA shall install, change, or re-key any keyed security device on any exterior door or window of the Premises after receiving a written request from the Lessee, in accordance with applicable law. Installation or change of security devices or re-keying of the Premises will be conducted pursuant to the Texas Property Code. UTA may charge Lessee a fee for labor, materials, overhead, and extra keys in accordance with applicable state law. Once installed, a security device becomes a fixture of the Premises and may not be removed without the written permission of UTA.

Resident’s Responsibility for Security: RESIDENT acknowledges that MANAGEMENT has not made any representations either written or oral, concerning the safety of the Community in which the PREMISES are located or the effectiveness or operability of any security devices or measures on the PREMISES or Community. MANAGEMENT neither warrants nor guarantees the safety or security of RESIDENT or RESIDENT’S guest(s) or invitees(s) against any criminal or wrongful acts of third party. Each RESIDENT and their Guest(s) or Invitee(s) is responsible for protecting his or her own person and property. RESIDENTS are encouraged to contact the local law enforcement agency in the event they have security concerns and contact 911 in the event of an emergency. RESIDENTS acknowledge that security devices or measures, including but not limited to, intrusion alarms, access gates, keyed or controlled entry doors, surveillance cameras, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, or other devices, may fail or be thwarted by criminals or by electrical or mechanical malfunctions. Resident agrees to immediately notify MANAGEMENT of any malfunctions involving locks, doors, windows, latches, and smoke detectors.
LOCKS AND KEYS. The Tenant will not place additional locks upon any door of the Residential Premises or alter the locks in any way without the written consent of the Landlord. The Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord a fee for any lock changes and additional keys required by the Tenant. The Tenant will not have copies made of any keys or keycards issued by the Landlord.
LOCKS AND KEYS. You must not change or install any additional locks or security chains on any doors or windows at the premises or the building, or have any extra keys cut for any locks without our permission in writing. If you lose the keys to the premises or the building, you must pay us in full any costs to supply and fit replacement locks. In addition, you must pay us for the full cost of changing any locks during or after the tenancy where you have lost or misplaced keys during the tenancy or where you have failed to return any keys supplied to you by us at the end of the tenancy. The “costs” referred to in this clause include but are not limited to any reasonable administration charges or professional fees for services such as arranging for a locksmith or contractor to attend.
LOCKS AND KEYS. Landlord shall provide a lock for the exterior. So as not to restrict Landlord's ability to ingress and egress, Tenant agrees that no additional locks shall be placed upon any doors of the premises. Tenant further agrees that no locks shall be changed without Landlord's prior written permission. Upon termination of this lease, Tenant shall return to Landlord all keys to the premises.

LOCKS AND KEYS. You will not place additional locks upon any door of your accommodation or Residential Property or alter the locks in any way without the written consent of the Landlord. Tampering with, forcing or disabling a door’s locking mechanism is prohibited. You agree to pay the Landlord a fee for any lock changes and additional keys required by you or incurred by you caused by your actions, or those of your spouse or guests. You will not copy, tamper with or compromise any key, keycard or key fob provided by the Landlord. You may not give possession of your keys to your guests, friends, or any other person. Unauthorized possession or unauthorized use of residence keys is prohibited and may result in eviction.
LOCKS AND KEYS. A. Locks – RESIDENT SHALL NOT INSTALL, REPLACE, ALTER, REMOVE, OR MODIFY INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR LOCKS. Installation, replacement, alteration, removal, or modification of interior or exterior locks is considered a material breach of this Lease Agreement.
LOCKS AND KEYS. The lessee shall not alter or add to the locking system on any entry or bedroom door of the rented premise without the written permission of the Lessor. In the event the Lessee locks himself out of the rented premise, the Lessor shall not be obligated to unlock the rented premise under a certain time frame. The tenant shall be responsible for all costs of re-entry, including but not limited to locksmith charges, charges for damage howsoever caused, and any service charge payable to the Lessor if the Lessor agrees to unlock the Premises ($35.00 per visit). Keys are provided gratuitously and must be returned upon termination of lease. A charge of $100.00 will apply for each set of lost or unreturned key(s) if the rented premise is an apartment building with controlled entry and $10.00 for all other rented premises.
