Infrastructure Development. 1. Construction and upgradation of rural water supply schemes in about 3,000 habitations in Punjab which are not covered or are only partially covered by such schemes.
Infrastructure Development. A construction agreement shall be executed between Party “A” & Party “B” for infrastructure development as per PEC/FIDIC guidelines. That Party ‘B’ shall be obligated to undertake infrastructure development of the housing scheme as per the approved layout plan and services design, in accordance with local/municipal bye laws and standards of concerned development authority, by a contractor/firm/agency of adequate / requisite financial and technical profile as per PEC/FIDIC guidelines. All bids in respect of design, engineering, construction / supervision would be invited by Party ‘B’ and submitted to Party ‘A’ alongwith detail analysis / comparative statement for its concurrence / final approval. Party ‘B’ will follow PEC rules / guidelines and will use PEC prescribed documents for award of development works including FIDIC / PEC construction agreement. The party ‘B’ shall be responsible for the following:
Infrastructure Development. MIDA and Hideout agree to cooperate and coordinate with each other so that Infrastructure, defined below, crossing between and/or intended to serve the Hideout Zone and the balance of the MRF Project Area and other areas of Hideout adjacent to the MRF Project Area are designed and installed so as to work to the betterment of both areas; provided, however, that Hideout will not be obligated to assume any liability, costs, or expenses of any sort for portions of any Infrastructure outside the Hideout Zone unless constructed or owned by Hideout. In the event of any disagreement between Hideout and MIDA over the location, scope, or other coordination details of such Infrastructure crossing between land in the Hideout Zone and land in the balance of the MRF Project Area or land adjacent to the MRF Project Area, the joint decision of Hideout Mayor and the MIDA Executive Director shall control.
Infrastructure Development. The activities under this sub-component include: (i) funding of projects to improve on-farm irrigation and production road systems within the production bases of their cooperatives; (ii) funding of projects for improvement of public irrigation and village road system; (iii) training for cooperative members; and (iv) establishment and training of road maintenance groups and water users associations. The eligibility and selection criteria for these activities shall be defined in the PIM.
Infrastructure Development. Implementation of the activities under this sub-component shall follow a participatory approach through village level road maintenance groups and water users associations. Under the coordination of the PMOs, the Prefecture and County BOTs shall be responsible for the implementation of the road improvement related activities through service providers such as professional construction contractors selected in accordance with this Agreement. Irrigation related activities shall be implemented by the Prefecture and County BOWRs through service providers such as professional construction contractors who shall be selected in accordance with this Agreement. The BOWR shall be responsible for technical guidance and supervision. The BOA and farmer cooperatives shall be responsible for the land levelling and preparation activities. The selection of infrastructure projects and intervention sites shall be done in accordance with the selection criteria specified in the PIM.

Industrial corridors need development of basic infrastructure, establishment and operation of production activities, the trade and transport between clusters of production and consumption and the value added by the supply chains used domestically and in international trade. The major factors for the cohesive development of the corridor will be the presence of good connectivity and availability of skilled workforce along the network. The influence area for each corridor is different (50–150 km). The ideal distance on either side is dependent on various parameters, which include coverage of significant population and area, integrating with the existing and planned major industrial developments, inclusion of major urban centers in the vicinity and capitalizing on existing infrastructure strengths. Infrastructure and proactive/planned urbanization are critical to the success of industrial corridors.
