GROUP D. All other individuals who are seeking employment and who are physically fit. Any individual who has previously failed to pass or complete the Pre-Construction Training (PCT) shall not be eligible to register on the “D” list.
GROUP D. The Union shall maintain a separate list of Apprentices based on skills and hours in the Apprenticeship Program The Union shall maintain each of the separate Group lists set forth above and shall list the applicants within each Group in the order they register and become available for employment. The Union shall refer applicants to the Employer by first referring applicants in Group "A" in the order of their places on said list and then referring applicants in the same manner successively from the lists in Group "B”, and then Group "C". Any applicant who is rejected by the Employer shall be returned to his appropriate place within his Group and shall be referred to another Employer in accordance with the position of his/her Group and his/her place within the Group. Upon a registrant being referred for employment and actually employed on a job more than three (3) days, such registrant’s name shall be removed from the list until such time as his/her employment has been terminated at which time he/she shall be registered at the bottom of the appropriate list under which he/she is entitled to be registered. If a registrant, upon being referred in regular order, refuses to accept the referral, such registrant's name shall be placed at the bottom of the appropriate list under which he/she is entitled to be registered. Registration of applicants for referral shall be not less than once each week for a period or periods of not less than two (2) hours duration. Registration periods shall be established by the Union and notification thereof shall be given to all interested parties by posting in the Union office. The Union, its officers, agents and representatives undertake no obligation to search for, or by any means locate an applicant on the current applicable referral list who is not physically present in the Union Hall when referrals are made pursuant to a request of the contractor. The order of referral set forth above shall be followed except in cases where Employers require and call for employees possessing special skills and abilities in which case the Union shall refer the first applicant on the register possessing such special skills and abilities. The Union shall require all job applicants who have not previously registered, to submit a resume of experience and qualifications in order to determine their proper group and whether they are qualified to perform the various requisite skills of the craft and thereby be eligible for registration and/or referral....

APPENDIX B - PERSONAL LEAVE GUIDELINES General Guidelines for the Administration ofSpecial Leave” Provisions These guidelines are specifically intended to help in the application of Article 19.17 of the Collective Agreement. While it is hoped that the following guidelines are helpful in providing some uniformity of application, the guidelines cannot override the specific wording and intent of the parties as set in the Collective Agreement. Where any question arises between the guidelines as set out and the intent of the Collective Agreement, the employee should consult with the Director or his/her designate before making a decision. It should also be understood that the guidelines apply to the granting of leave with pay, which in turn is not chargeable to sick leave credits. Quite aside from the guidelines, it is possible, with the concurrence of the Director or his/her designate, to grant leave without pay for other reasons or for periods of time in excess of that permitted under the Article cited above. Finally, while past practice is helpful in applying the guidelines and the clauses, there will always be unusual or exceptional circumstances which deserve individual consideration.

GROUP D. Each teacher who teaches in-person classes, excluding secondary Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Physical Education teachers, and in class spaces that exceed 900 square feet, will receive the following stipends:  Kindergarten teachers will receive $400 for each student over 25 students on that teacher’s roster per semester;  First through Third grade teachers will receive $400 for each student over 27 students on that teacher’s roster per semester;  Fourth through Fifth grade teachers will receive $400 for each student over 30 students on that teacher’s roster per semester;  Sixth through Eighth grade will receive $65 for each student over 28 students per class period on that teacher’s roster per semester;  Ninth through Twelfth grade teachers will receive $200 for each student over 155 students on that teacher’s roster per semester. Each teacher who teaches online classes, excluding secondary Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Physical Education teachers, will receive the following stipends:  Kindergarten through Fifth grade teachers will receive $400 for each student over 32 students on that teacher’s roster per semester;  Sixth through Twelfth grade teachers will receive $200 for each student over 168 students on that teacher’s roster per semester.
