General Contractors. 29.1 Landlord and Tenant shall agree upon a list of acceptable general contractors who will bid for Tenant's remodeling. Tenant shall have the right to review and verify all bids. All costs incurred pursuant to Tenant's construction documents, construction contracts and awards, and for bonds, cleaning and permits, etc., and all costs of Tenant's General Contractor (including overhead and profit), and all subcontractor costs may be reimbursed from Landlord's contribution, provided that in no event shall the total costs reimbursed, together with the costs of Landlord's work, if any, exceed One Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand Three Hundred Ten and 00/100 Dollars ($173,310.00).
General Contractors. Before the commencement of construction of the **, Landlord shall deliver to Tenant and prior to the commencement of construction of the Building Improvements and/or Ancillary Facilities, Tenant shall deliver to Landlord, certificates of insurance evidencing the following types of insurance coverage for their respective contractors in the following minimum amounts, written on an occurrence basis, which policies shall (i) be issued by companies reasonably approved by the other party, (ii) be maintained by Landlord or its contractors and subcontractors at all times during the construction of the **, and by Tenant or its contractors and subcontractors at all times during construction of the Building Improvements and Ancillary Facilities, (iii) name Landlord and Tenant as an additional insured and (iv) be endorsed to waive subrogation against Landlord and Tenant:
General Contractors. With respect to any Improvements undertaken by Tenant pursuant to Section 9.2 of the Lease, Landlord agrees to allow Tenant to use Xxxxxx Construction or to consider use by Tenant of an unbonded general contractor subject to Landlord’s approval, in its sole discretion, of any such general contractor taking into account such contractor’s reputation in the industry, such contractor’s creditworthiness and such other matters as Landlord shall determine.

  • General Contractor A building, construction, or contracting firm with whom Borrower has contracted or may in the future contract with for the construction of the Improvements pursuant to a certain construction contract between them (the "Construction Contract").

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers. A Contractor’s “Representative” is also broadly defined to include any subcontractors, employees, agents, or anyone else who acts on a Contractor’s behalf.

  • Sub-contractors Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.

  • Subcontractors The Contractor will not subcontract any work under the Contract without prior written consent of the Department. The Contractor is fully responsible for satisfactory completion of all its subcontracted work. The Department supports diversity in its procurements and contracts, and requests that the Contractor offer subcontracting opportunities to certified woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses. The Contractor may contact the OSD at xxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx for information on certified small business enterprises available for subcontracting opportunities.

  • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.

  • Architects, Consultants and Contractors Landlord and Tenant hereby acknowledge and agree that: (i) the general contractor and any subcontractors for the Tenant Improvements shall be selected by Landlord, subject to Tenant’s approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, and (ii) DGA shall be the architect (the “TI Architect”) for the Tenant Improvements.

  • Use of Subcontractors Nothing in this Appendix 2 shall prevent the Interconnection Parties from utilizing the services of subcontractors as they deem appropriate to perform their respective obligations hereunder, provided, however, that each Interconnection Party shall require its subcontractors to comply with all applicable terms and conditions of this Appendix 2 in providing such services.

  • Use of Subservicers and Subcontractors The Servicer shall not hire or otherwise utilize the services of any Subservicer to fulfill any of the obligations of the Servicer as servicer under this Agreement or any Reconstitution Agreement unless the Servicer complies with the provisions of paragraph (a) of this Section. The Servicer shall not hire or otherwise utilize the services of any Subcontractor, and shall not permit any Subservicer to hire or otherwise utilize the services of any Subcontractor, to fulfill any of the obligations of the Servicer as servicer under this Agreement or any Reconstitution Agreement unless the Servicer complies with the provisions of paragraph (b) of this Section.
