Fridays. In those years where there are more than 52 Fridays, there shall be no more than three (3) weeks between the last paycheck for a previous school year and the first paycheck for a new school year.

These overlap shifts would be utilized for taking statutory leave, extra duty leave, annual leave, specialized training, evaluation reports (for supervisors, to a maximum of one each quadrant) and special patrols. Selection of an overlap day as a day of leave will be determined by: the company which is on its last scheduled working day will have priority choice of taking the overlap day off by using, in this order, annual leave, statutory leave, and extra duty leave. If additional personnel can be allowed off, the other company will be allowed the choice of taking the overlap day off in the same order.
Fridays. While the lapse charge practices as described above shall apply to all lapsing MDO policies, it is understood that for such policies issued on the Modified Pro Rata First-Year Sales Commission plan which lapse in the first policy year, the pro rata first-year lapse commission charge as referred to in Article Eight of this contract will be made against the Lapse Outstanding Account of the writing Agent.
