Evidence of Property Insurance Clause Samples

The Evidence of Property Insurance clause requires a party, typically the property owner or tenant, to provide proof that adequate insurance coverage is in place for the property in question. This is usually accomplished by submitting a certificate of insurance or similar documentation to the other party, often the landlord or lender, confirming that the property is insured against specified risks such as fire, theft, or natural disasters. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have assurance that the property is protected, thereby reducing financial risk and potential disputes in the event of damage or loss.
