Escheatment. In the event any unclaimed property relating to the ADSs, for any reason, is in the possession of Depositary and has not been claimed by the Holder thereof or cannot be delivered to the Holder thereof through usual channels, the Depositary shall, upon expiration of any applicable statutory period relating to abandoned property laws, escheat such unclaimed property to the relevant authorities in accordance with the laws of each of the relevant States of the United States.

Escheatment. JHSS shall prepare and submit appropriate reports with each state in connection with the escheatment of shares and uncashed distribution checks and escheat such Shares and funds to each state based on each states respective unclaimed/abandoned property rules and provide to each Fund escheatment reports as reasonably requested by a Fund with respect to the status of the Fund’s accounts and outstanding checks.

You agree that we act within reasonable banking standards by processing most checks, paper drafts and other items through automated processing systems. Foreign Activity If you have moved outside of the United States or have frequent international transactions, you may be contacted about the international activity in your account and for further verification of your address. If you are moving, traveling, or will be temporarily residing overseas, we recommend you contact us to prevent any disruption in your account activity. Your account may be closed.
Escheatment. If applicable, in situations such as extended periods of inactivity on your account or no expressed interest by you on the account over a period of time, or such other situations as covered by law, applicable state law may deem the account abandoned and require us to turn over funds in your deposit account to the applicable state government. The applicable state law will be the state of the owner’s last known address as we have it on file. If funds have escheated, you may have to file a claim with the state to recover them.

If Merchant does not respond to Company notice within the time period specified in the notice, Company may close the Account and the Bank will escheat Merchant funds in accordance with applicable law.
