Equality & Diversity. 18.1 NATC strives for high standards as a provider of allotments. In so doing, we recognise the need for encouraging diversity and wholeheartedly support a policy of equal opportunities in all areas of our work and responsibilities -please see the NADCAA website for all policies.
Equality & Diversity. The DBS strongly recommends to e-RBs that, when determining how data will be collected from applicants, they give due consideration to equality & diversity matters (e.g. with respect to: disability, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion). The DBS has a confidential checking process for Transgender applicants who do not wish to reveal details of their previous identity to the person who asked them to complete an application form for a DBS check. This transgender process is not available through the normal paper or e-bulk application process. RBs should make applicants aware of this process. Equality & Diversity. Bournemouth University is strongly committed to Equality and Diversity, and promotes this throughout all its work with students, staff and the wider community. In our whole of institution approach to fair access and student success (figure 1), equality and diversity is an overarching theme, emphasising its importance. In 2017/18 Equality and Diversity will continue to have a dedicated flexible source of funding from which timely events and initiatives are undertaken ensuring responsiveness to the current student population profile and national trends. We will commit to becoming a member of the ECU Race charter to provide a framework to further progress work in relation to BME students. BU will undertake equality assessments where and when necessary to ensure any unintended adverse effects of WP plans are minimised or removed. Equality & Diversity. This lettings plan is intended to work alongside the Equality and Diversity policies of both Cornwall Council and Devon and Cornwall Housing Ltd. It should ensure that the assessment and nomination process does not discriminate against households and enables applicants with diverse needs to access accommodation on this scheme. The aim is that the residents of Station Court as a whole will reflect the diversity of the community.

Equality & Diversity. 8.1 Promoting equality and diversity
Equality & Diversity. Employees will be expected to follow the equality policies of the employing organisation. Alongside contractual policies this will also include complying with organisational requirements regarding Equality Impact Assessments.
Equality & Diversity. 18.1 MRTC shall not discriminate directly or indirectly on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, race, disability, colour, ethnic or national origin in terms of employment or service delivery. The only exception to this will be where it is lawful (e.g. genuine occupational qualifications as allowed under Section 5 of the Race Relations Act 1976 and Section 7 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975).
Equality & Diversity. 13.2.1 The Supplier shall:
a. perform its obligations under this Framework Agreement (including those in relation to the provision of the Goods and/or Services) in accordance with:
i. all applicable equality Law (whether in relation to race, sex, gender reassignment, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity, age or otherwise); and
ii. any other requirements and instructions which the Customer reasonably imposes in connection with any equality obligations imposed on the Customer at any time under applicable equality Law;
b. take all necessary steps, and inform the Customer of the steps taken, to prevent unlawful discrimination designated as such by any court or tribunal, or the Equality and Human Rights Commission or (any successor organisation).
Equality & Diversity. 22.1 The Contrcator acknowledges that the Authority has a „duty to promote‟ equality and must at all times be seen to be actively promoting fair treatment, equal opportunities and good relations, between all persons irrespective of their age, disability, pregnancy, maternity, race, religion or belief, gender, gender reassignment and sexual orientation.
22.2 The Contractor shall assist and cooperate with the Authority in satisfying the public sector duties on equal opportunities and after 1 April 2011, or when it comes into effect, the single public sector duty under the Equality ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇. The Contractor shall also use reasonable endeavours to seek similar compliance from its sub-contractors.
22.3 The Contractor shall deliver its policies on equality and diversity which as a minimum includes:
a) The Contactor‟s equality and diversity policy and procedures for preventing unlawful discrimination and promoting equality of opportunity in respect of: Age; Disability; Gender reassignment; Marriage and civil partnership; Pregnancy and maternity; Race; Religion or belief; Sex; Sexual orientation. The full policy document must be made available to the Authority on request.
