The Educational Program and Curriculum clause defines the structure, content, and delivery methods of the educational services to be provided under an agreement. It typically outlines the subjects, courses, or training modules included, as well as any standards or accreditation requirements that must be met. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of what educational offerings will be delivered, thereby preventing misunderstandings and setting expectations for program quality and scope.
Educational Program and Curriculum. The School shall implement the concept and mission, educational program, and curriculum as described in its application approved by the Sponsor (Attachment A). The School shall not change the concept, mission statement, or its general implementation of these guidelines without the prior approval of the Sponsor.

Educational Program and Curriculum. The Charter School shall implement an educational program and curriculum consistent with the program and curriculum presented in the Charter Application.
3.2.1 The Charter School may revise and amend the educational program and curriculum at its discretion and without requiring approval from the Sponsor or amendment to this Charter provided that such revisions or amendments do not indicate a material change to the school’s mission or its pupil performance standards.
3.2.2 Material revisions and/or amendments to the educational program and/or curriculum shall require the Sponsor’s approval.
Educational Program and Curriculum. The School shall implement an educational program and curriculum that meet or exceed state standards consistent with the program and curriculum presented in the Application. The School may revise and amend the educational program and curriculum at its discretion without requiring approval from the Commission or amendment of the Charter provided that such amendments do not indicate a material change to the school’s mission or its pupil performance standards.
Educational Program and Curriculum. A. The School shall implement its educational program and related programs specified in Attachment B, setting forth the School's curriculum, the instructional methods, assessments, and any distinctive and innovative instructional techniques or approaches to be used. The School agrees that its programs and operations shall ensure that its program is innovative and consistent with the State education goals established by s. 1000.03(5), F.S. The School is required to have in place all resources necessary to ensure a safe and orderly learning and working environment, and to have adequate instructional materials provided for every student. Attachment B shall describe the research base and/or the curriculum approach. Further, the curriculum and instructional strategies and assessments for the School’s reading programs and student grades served shall be consistent with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and the Florida State Standards and shall be grounded in scientifically based reading research and approved by FDOE. In order to implement the purpose of increasing learning opportunities for all students, with special emphasis on low-performing students and reading set forth in s. 1002.33(2)(b), F.S., the School shall provide intensive reading instruction to its students who score Level I on the Florida Standards Assessment (or any successor test adopted by FDOE, referred to in this Contract as “FSA”). The School shall clearly identify how its educational program will align with the School’s mission or, if the School intends to replicate an existing school design, it shall provide evidence that the existing design has been effective and successful in raising student achievement (in which case the School must clearly describe its capacity to replicate the design). The School will maintain and have available for review, a textbook or digital inventory for core courses which shall include title, list of materials, adoption cycle, and number of texts available and in use.
B. The School shall continuously maintain accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (“SACS”) and/or AdvancED or their successors . Said accreditation shall be obtained on or before June 30, 2019. Obtaining said accreditation by June 30, 2019 is a condition precedent to the formation of this Agreement. 1) General
a) The School shall implement its educational and related programs as specified in the School’s approved application (Appendix A), including the School’s curriculum, the instructional methods, any distinctive instructional techniques to be used, and the identification and acquisition of appropriate technologies needed to improve educational and administrative performance, which include a means for promoting safe, ethical, and appropriate uses of technology which comply with legal and professional standards.
b) The School shall ensure that reading is a primary focus of the curriculum and that resources are provided to identify and provide specialized instruction for students who are reading below grade level. Further, the curriculum and instructional strategies for reading shall be consistent with applicable State and Federal Standards and grounded in scientifically-based research. Updates, revisions, and/or changes to the curriculum programs described in the application and as requested by the Sponsor as a condition of the application’s approval are incorporated as part of the approved application included as Appendix A. Any request to change the School’s curriculum must be submitted to the Sponsor in writing, comply with all applicable laws and be approved by the Sponsor before the changes are implemented.
c) The School will be provided the opportunity to participate in the Sponsor’s K-12 Comprehensive Research-Based Reading Plan (CRRP) but may opt to not participate pursuant with 6A.-6.053. If the School chooses to participate in the plan it must: i. Meet the requirements outlined in the District K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plan; however, it may meet these requirements through methods that differ from those requirements outlined in the Sponsor’s plan; ii. Agree to implement the plan with fidelity; iii. Agree to be monitored by the Sponsor for fidelity to the plan.

The Sponsor shall ensure that the School is innovative and consistent with the state educational goals established by Section 1000.02, Florida Statutes. The School will adopt the Sponsor’s school year calendar to provide instruction for at least the number of days required by law for other public schools.
Educational Program and Curriculum. Age and Grade Range. Unless modified as provided herein, HCS shall provide instruction to students in grades K-12.
