December 2013. Reasons for the transaction under the Renewed Samoa Master Processing Agreement The Group is principally engaged in the sale and marketing of a comprehensive range of tea products and the development of product concepts, tastes and packaging designs. The key products of the Group are tea leaves, tea snacks and tea ware, which are sold through a nationwide network of self-owned and third-party owned retail outlets and retail points. Samoa Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the packaging, marketing and sale of tea leaves as well as the development and sale of tea snacks and tea ware. The processing services provided by Samoa Group to the Group involve processing the tea leaves, which is beyond the business scope of the Group. Given that the processing services are provided based on prevailing market rates, the Directors (including the independent non-executive Directors) consider that the Renewed Samoa Master Processing Agreement are entered into on an arm’s length basis, on normal commercial terms, in the usual and ordinary course of business of the Group, and the transactions contemplated under the Renewed Samoa Master Processing Agreement are fair and reasonable and in the interest of the Company and the Shareholders as a whole.

December 2013. During the mission’s field visit to Yidu and Yichang, the participants visited research institutes and enterprises on vegetable production, livestock techniques, aquaculture, agro-processing: peanuts, citrus, cotton and tea and aquaculture-processing: fish. The participants were impressed with the knowledge and experience learned in China and would like to apply them in Senegal as appropriate, including the xxxxxx’x cooperatives, conservation technologies, agricultural research, agro-product processing system, etc. Both parties expressed their willingness to explore possible cooperation by investment and technical cooperation in Senegal. By the end of the mission, the participants had a wrap-up meeting with the FECC and FAO- China to exchange views on the SSC programme implementation in the future. The latest information on SSC events and strategies were shared with the participants. The sustainable development of SSC was expected to be achieved through strengthening economic and trade cooperation at all levels between the two countries.
December 2013. The Grantee shall complete the creative work project not later than 1 December 2013. The Grantee acknowledges that the University, through its authorized officials, has exercised the requisite diligence in his/her selection as a beneficiary of this grant. On the ninth month after the start of the grant, the Grantee shall submit a progress report to the ECWRG Monitoring and Evaluation Committee Chair, without need of demand from the University. On the 18th month of the grant, the Grantee shall submit any of the following outputs: a) proof of acceptance of publication of a book or book chapter manuscript by an academic press or commercial publisher, b) proof of jurying or competitive selection for exhibition in the case of films, artwork, video composition and other non-written output; when appropriate, a copy of the creative work will be submitted. Non-written creative works that are not juried or competitively selected for exhibition shall be subject to review by two external referees selected by the CWRG Monitoring and Evaluation Committee. December 2013, the MTF STU shall participate in the financing of joint expenditure at a rate of about 20 %, up to a ceiling of support of 13.496,- Euro on the basis of approved yearly budgets (Task P2: 4.523,-EUR and Task 4.4.2b: 8.973,- Eur). Expenditure relating to the execution of this contract that is not shared by the Association EUROATOM CU shall be borne by the MTF STU. Before October 1st each year the MTF STU shall submit to the Association EUROATOM CU for approval a proposed budget for the following year. Before May 1st each year, after the first year, the MTF STU shall submit to the Association EUROATOM CU for approval a statement of Account concerning the preceding year and a list of personnel involved in the joint research.
