Data Aggregation. In the event that Business Associate works for more than one Covered Entity, Business Associate is permitted to use and disclose PHI for data aggregation purposes, however, only in order to analyze data for permitted health care operations, and only to the extent that such use is permitted under the HIPAA Rules.

Data Aggregation. Data Aggregation" means, with respect to PHI created or received by Business Associate in its capacity as the Business Associate of Covered Entity, the combining of such PHI by the Business Associate with the PHI received by the Business Associate in its capacity as a Business Associate of another covered entity, to permit data analyses that relate to the health care operations of the respective covered entities.
Data Aggregation. To permit the Business Associate to provide data aggregation services relating to the operations of Agency. Aggregation is defined as combining PHI received from multiple Business Associates to produce data analysis that relates to the operation of the respective Covered Entities.
