CREDIT UNION DEDUCTION. The Commonwealth agrees to deduct from the regular salary payments (not a draw) of employees an amount of money, upon receipt of the employee's written authorization for the deduction for the purchase of shares in, making deposits to, or repaying a loan to a credit union organized under appropriate provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws. Any written authorization may be withdrawn by the employee by submitting a written notice of withdrawal to the Commonwealth and the treasurer of the credit union thirty (30) days in advance of the desired cessation of payroll deduction.

CREDIT UNION DEDUCTION. All Employers subject to the terms of this Agreement shall, upon request of the employee, deduct and remit not less than fifty cents (50¢) per hour to the Qualstar Credit Union and/or Advantis Credit Union. All deductions above fifty cents (50¢) per hour will be in fifty cent (50¢) increments. Such monies deducted from the employee's paychecks shall be deposited in the name of the individual employee. An employee may only be allowed to accept or reject this deduction every ninety (90) days. The “savings” payment and the payroll report shall be mailed to reach the depository not later than fifteen (15) calendar days following the end of each calendar month.
CREDIT UNION DEDUCTION. The District shall extend the applicability of APA deductions from employee's salaries to include savings and loan payments to the Whatcom Educational Credit Union and Washington School Employees Credit Union. Details to implement will be worked out between the Credit Union(s) and the District. An information sheet will be made available to staff explaining procedures for utilizing this APA deduction.
CREDIT UNION DEDUCTION. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of the Teachers an amount of money to be deposited with the Teachers' Credit Union using direct deposit. Such deductions shall be made from the salaries of those teachers who individually and voluntarily authorize the Board in writing, on a form submitted by the Alliance, to deduct and transmit such monies to the Credit Union. The administrative procedures to be followed in implementing this proviso shall be mutually agreed upon between the Board and the Alliance, using subparagraph P(3) of this Article as a guideline.
