Convenience Checks. We may, from time to time, issue convenience checks to you that may be drawn on your account. Convenience checks may not be used to make a payment on your account. If you use a convenience check, it will be posted to your account as a cash advance. We reserve the right to refuse to pay a convenience check drawn on your account for any reason and such refusal shall not constitute wrongful dishonor. You may request that we stop the payment of a convenience check drawn on your account. You agree to pay any fee as identified in this Agreement imposed to stop a payment on a convenience check issued on your account. You may make a stop payment request orally, if permitted, or in writing. Your request must be made with sufficient time in advance of the presentment of the check for payment to give us a reasonable opportunity to act on your request. In addition, your request must accurately describe the check including the exact Account number, the payee, any check number that may be applicable, and the exact amount of the check. If permitted, you may make a stop payment request orally, but such a request will expire after 14 days unless you confirm your request in writing within that time. Written stop payment orders are effective only for six months and may be renewed for additional six-month periods by requesting in writing that the stop payment order be renewed. We are not required to notify you when a stop payment order expires. If we re-credit your account after paying a check over a valid and timely stop payment order, you agree to sign a statement describing the dispute with the payee, to assign to us all of your rights against the payee or other holders of the check and to assist us in any legal action. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all costs and expenses, including attorney's fees, damages, or claims, related to our honoring your stop payment request or in failing to stop payment of an item as a result of incorrect information provided to us or the giving of inadequate time to act upon a stop payment request. Note: A convenience check is not a check as that term is defined under the Uniform Commercial Code. It is an advance from your credit card account with us and your stop payment rights are provided under this Agreement with us.

Convenience Checks. We may, from time to time and in our sole discretion, provide Convenience Checks to you that allow you to access your available Credit Line by writing a check.
Convenience Checks. Convenience Checks are available at our discretion. If we make Convenience Checks available, they may only be used by Persons whose names are pre-printed on them. Each Convenience Check must be completed and signed in the same way you complete a personal check.
Convenience Checks. We may issue checks at our discretion that may be used for any purpose other than making payment for credit to your Account. By signing such checks, you authorize us to pay the item for the amount indicated and post such amount as a cash advance to your Account. We do not have to pay any item that would cause the outstanding balance in your Account to exceed your credit limit.
Convenience Checks. Any individual cardholder or authorized user can use your Convenience Checks to purchase goods and services or to obtain cash up to the amount of your available credit limit. Credit Union will treat Convenience Checks as Cash Advances and will charge them against your credit limit. Credit Union may decline to honor a Convenience Check if you are over your credit limit, you are in default, your account privileges have been canceled, or your Card has expired. If we decline to honor a Convenience Check, Credit Union may charge you a fee, which the Credit Union will add to your account balance. Convenience Checks may be used only by the person whose name is printed on them. You may not use Convenience Checks to pay any amount you owe the Credit Union under this or any other credit agreement with the Credit Union. Credit Union will not certify any Convenience Checks, nor will the Credit Union return paid Convenience Checks to you. It is in the Credit Union's sole discretion to issue Convenience Checks to any member. Stopping payment of a Convenience Check. You may ask us to stop payment of a convenience check by calling us at (000) 000-0000. You may be charged a stop payment fee/a stop payment fee may be added to your account balance. Your stop payment request will be effective permanently. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to stop payment on your convenience check. However, you agree that convenience checks are credit transactions; and that we will not be responsible in any way if the convenience check that you have requested us to stop payment on is cashed or otherwise presented for payment and, using commercially reasonable efforts, we are unable to stop payment. You agree that the UCC does not apply to a convenience check.
Convenience Checks. We are under no obligation to honor Your Convenience Checks if: (1) by paying a Convenience Check, You would exceed Your Credit Limit; (2) Your Cards or Convenience Checks have been reported lost or stolen; (3) Your Account has been cancelled or has expired; and
Convenience Checks. Periodically, Mission Fed may supply you with personalized convenience checks, “Check(s)”, which you may use to make purchases or pay other bills. Use of these Checks will be treated as a cash advance and subject to associated transaction fees. The person whose name appears on the Check must sign it. We may return your Check(s) unpaid when available credit in your Account is insufficient to cover the amount of the Check(s), when your Account is in default, or when your Credit Line has been suspended. You may not use Checks to make payments on your Account. You may not write a postdated Check. A stop payment may be requested on any UNPAID convenience check. All stop payment requests must be authorized in writing in order for the stop payment to remain valid for 12 months. Any stop payment request made by telephone will be valid for 14 calendar days until a written form is received. A stop payment processing fee will be charged. There will also be a processing fee for canceling a stop payment request, and we require the cancellation order in writing. For current fees please refer to the Consumer Fee Schedule.

Convenience Checks. You can use your Convenience Checks (“Checks”) to purchase goods or services up to the amount of your Credit Line. Use of your Checks is a cash advance to Your VISA® Account. We are not required to honor a check that will cause you to exceed your Credit Line. We will not pay a Check if at the time the Check is presented, you are in default or we have suspended, terminated or canceled your Account. Each Check must be in the form we have issued to you. Checks may be used only by the person(s) whose name(s) is printed on the Checks. You may not use your Checks to pay any amount you owe under your Account. Your statement will show you an itemization of the Checks posted to your Account during the billing cycle. Checks paid by us will not be returned to you with your statement. We will charge a Returned Item Fee per returned check which will be billed to your Account, if your Check(s) cannot be paid. Checks are not subject to VISA® chargeback rights. Provided such request is timely, so that we shall have a reasonable opportunity to act upon it under our rules, you may order a Stop Payment on a Check drawn on your Account. We may, but shall not be obligated to, receive such order orally. In such event, the order shall be valid for only fourteen (14) days thereafter unless confirmed in writing. Written stop payment orders will remain in effect only six (6) months unless renewed in writing. You have the responsibility of establishing the fact and amount of loss resulting from payment contrary to a binding stop payment. We will charge a Stop Payment Fee when you place a stop payment on your Checks(s) which will be billed to your Account.

All convenience checks you use will be treated as cash advances under this Agreement unless we advise you otherwise. You may not use the convenience checks to make payments on any MCU credit card account. You understand that if you use a convenience check to make a purchase and you have a dispute with that purchase, the dispute is not covered by the Billing Rights Summary below. You understand that the convenience checks will not be returned to you.
